While the customer service rep was all too-willing to provide the tall cup of ice as requested - it must be expressed that the old man in line who deserves the two star atmosphere rating was surprisingly comfortable with the meandering exchanges of 'feeling each other up' in line, following my salutation of "hey old fella, where's the party at?" in a pleasant, unassuming of demeanor or any disposition to the otherwise, and following my earnest regard of inquiry into whether touching each other too closely was a traditional form of greeting from his post WW1 days, estimating his longevity by the sweat of his brow - so to speak. Read moreI really wanted to like this place. We live out of town, and have seen it in passing, and always wanted to go in but the timing was just never right. Today we had some spare time, and we were in town for an appointment, so we went. The young female barista, friendly and helpful, the young man making food was great at well. Unfortunately we will not be running back to Cafe Codiac. I feel a business has to make a good first impression and that woman cashier did not fulfill that duty...
