Started with great service. I asked in French if they spoke English and the waiter immediately dropped down to English. I used "dropped down" because for this Province, French is first. This area is very protective of their culture. I don't blame them. It's one of the main reasons we can't be 51. I ordered a flight of beers with a variety of tastes. They were on par to expections. I enjoy IPA's. They were out of the double IPA. DAM! The Toutueuse an American IPA was mild. They didn't have any IBU's published. The disappointment was the food. I had the Smoke meat. Came with slaw; fries, pickle and a finger sized sandwich of smoke meat. To me, this was shrinkflation at its worst. The meat was an inch thick on 2 inch slices of baguette. The fries were the leftovers of the frier. Small burnt offering. Look at the space left on the plate. I understand a decision has to be made on waste vs. profit. They chose profit. To management is, this what u want or do need to train the chef? The slaw was a finely chopped taste of mayonnaise. Service was great. Beer was okay. Food oh...

June 2023 This is one of the best eat out experiences I have ever had. Our server was chatty, informative and a fabulous waiter. He was from France. There must be dome type of work abroad program in effect here in Montmagny as he was not the only person we met from France and in Montmagny working. We couldn't decide on what type of beer to order. He suggested one that was only available on tap and could not be purchased in cans or growlers to take home. He quickly brought us all a sample, and we ended up ordering a pitcher. It was delicious. Our food was tasty, but the portions were small. A hungry person would have needed to order something extra. There is a nice large patio on the second level of the restaurant. We ate inside as that day it was like a hurricane. Very windy, and everything was toppling over outside. A great experience dining in Montmagny. There was a schedule posted for live entertainment, but we were not there on one of...

Far and away one of the most pleasant experiences these two anglophone travellers have had at a microbrewery.

A varied and delicious selection of beers, combined with its unique architecture and incredibly friendly service left an impression on us that not only made us think fondly of the microbrewery, but the city of Montmagny as a whole!

Merci encore à tous les gens qui travaillent ici et merci encore à notre serveuse, Mégan, pour avoir tolérer nos essais à parler en français !

A lovely city along the Saint Lawrence/Fleuve Saint-Laurent. If you happen upon here as a traveller, I cannot recommend this microbrewery...

I've been here before and the food was solid, but not spectacular.. BUT after work, grocery shopping and DENTIST 😱 yesterday I needed a little happy hour & it's such a beautiful restoPUB I decided to give it another shot and you know I highly recommend this habit.. the food of choice in Quebec is a poutine, but I'm finding it hard to find crispy fries... I'm giving Cote-du-Sud a 5 on food because out of all the fried food I've had in Quebec the 'meli-melo' was by far the best cooked & seasoned.. popcorn chicken, fried moz, waffle fries, & FRIED PICKLES.. so from la Fille-du-Sud MERCI.. what a treat 💙 LuvRK
