I ordered (1) Chubby chicken & (1) Habanero Chicken both in a trio. The food was good, I can’t complain.
The service was something else.
I had a coupon for 13.99$ for both meals. With taxes the total was 16.09$
I educated the drive through staff that the total was incorrect. 13.99$ + 15% taxes should’ve been 15.14$.
That’s when it got interesting…
I was first told prices went up. Then the system is the one responsible for the total. Then one of the staff members pointed at the line behind my car.
Eventually I accepted the fact that nobody present was capable of active listening, respect or curtesy.
In the end one of the staff members closed the drive window and ignored my physical presence. —————————————————————————————— Mistakes happen, that’s part of life. How you deal with them determines everything.
I’ve been served multiple times without issues, unfortunately I had to share this bad experience. ———————————————————————————— Also the website doesn’t have this outlet in their scroll down menu when you select St-Leonard has the city.
So there’s no way to leave feedback trough A&W...
Read moreI love A&W and probably visited over a 100 of them at this pont. From visiting this particular A&W multiple time I can say that.
The service is awful. The employees are zombies, maybe because they are overworked. Burger quality is subpart, my burger was raw a few times, the onion rings are a deep charred brown.
A&W have just recently discontinued their coupon system (awcoupon.ca) which means it's no longer worth it, especially if the food quality is inferior. A meal for 2 will 3nd up coating you over 30$ which is around the same price as a restaurant with much tastier and healthier options.
The only coupons you will get on their website is a donation coupons, where they donate on your behalf and write it off their taxes at the end of the year, making more money. Very disappointibg A&W. You've lost not only a loyal customer,...
Read moreWell, my nightly trip to A&W was again not so joyful... A guy called Daryn served me, giving the order I was under the impression I was talking to an angry grumpy teenager. He was semi rude while taking the order, then proceeded in charging me extra for some honey for my 17$ chicken strips, charged extra for a weak lemonade. Top it off with him wearing sportswear pants and top, almost dumped my food in my lap... I trusted in the mighty apple struddel to fix all this. Nope, he gave me an old one that was dry snd lukewarm... No A&W had ever charged me for those things before. The guy froze when I asked for his name. He asked why? I said, I want to write a review to make employee of the month... I think hes pocketing...
