The main course was okay however the inconsistencies are a little disappointing. Every time I travel to Montreal I have always been coming to Allo Mon Coco, I've been getting the same dish for the most part. What I dont like is when I make a substitution, the price varies from one location to another. Ive been paying $1 extra for switching pancake to French toast. Except for this location changes me $2. When asked why our server Jennifer said its the system and that's how it is.
Secondly, one of our meals came with a dessert, (waffle with cream and chocolate on top). When it came it looked delicious, however it was far from delicious.. the waffle was burnt so badly. how did the chef even let it leave the kitchen??! Let alone serve it, this put a bitter taste in our mouth. When our server came out we advised her of this and all she said was i'll let the chef know... you can see how badly the waffle is burnt as I flipped it to show it to the server.
I was a little taken back by the response, I thought I'd hear some sort of an apology for the poor food quality. However that did not take place. I don't think I'll be coming back to this location. Poor customer service and poor food quality check prior to serving to customer.

Thank you for the response, I may have misunderstood her name, but I assure you its 100% this location as there was a closer location to us but it didn't have the best review so we chose to come to the futher location we dined here at sept 10th at 11:45am. Read moreAnother update (Dec 28/23). We dined in with friends. Asked for ONE glass of water 3 times. Three of us were served our meal 10 minutes before the 4th person was served hers (meals should be served at the same time…we were only 4). Asked for an extra order of potatoes 3 times. Asked for coffee creamer a few times, then the waitress grabbed 2 from the occupied table near us. My friend’s coffee was refilled but mine wasn’t. Somehow waitress thought I said “no”. When I said I never said that she insisted I sais NO instead of cordially saying, “I’m sorry I misunderstood,” which she did misunderstand. All other 3 at the table said I never said no to more coffee. I was asking for more cream. Not sure where the misunderstanding occurred. For the price of the meals you’d think customer service would be better. I have been a waitress so I understand the stress but her attitude was not acceptable. The serving of one of the meals 10 mins later than the others…not acceptable. This venue needs to be revamped/needs new management.
Update: It’s 9 months later and again there were missing items in my order! I placed 2 Uber eats orders this morning. The reason for this is because the first order had 2 items missing. I contacted Uber and I will be getting a refund. I then placed another order for the 2 missing items and added another item. The second order was missing an item again. I understand it can happen but for it to happen with back-to-back orders tells me someone isn’t doing their job properly. This would not be acceptable if dining in and should not be acceptable...

I use to love everything about this place, but unfortunately quality of food and service has tremendously diminished to an unacceptable point of no return. Let me resume, we waiting for the coffee, when we finalrecieced it we waiting for brown sugar and cream but without a spoon we couldnt mix it so we had to waited again. By the time we were finally able to take a sip of coffee we werre finally asked if we were ready to order althought we had been ready for the past 18min with our menus closed. We order I recievec my plate but not my partner so again we wait and wait and wait and wait, by the time we recoeved hers well you can guess it mine was ice cold. I asked for water twice but never recieved it, waited for peanut butter and jam but ended up getting it my self because obvisoly i was once again forgotten about. So you guessed it, i waited on yhe hill and again waited to pay. Service was horrible and I didnt even mention the filthy dirty bathrooms!!!! No thank you Allo mon coco...
