WORST Customer service ever!!! I asked 2 plate of fish fritay which they told me would take 20 min max since they had to get the plantain ready, i was ok with waiting for 20 min but 35 min passed by so I asked them how long would the order take since 35 min have passed by so the DAUGHTER of the owner told me that they haven’t started with the order yet and she asked me personally to wait another 10 min, so I told her to just give me rice instead if it would be taking longer, the daughter refused to do so and she said she will prepare it as soon as possible so I agreed to stay 5 min more, so 1 hour passed by and there was no return from the daughter so I went to the cashier to ask about the order and the cashier confirmed that the owner’s daughter did not prepare anything. So I told them to give me a refund so I can go home then, and the daughter had the gut to asked me for a receipt when they clearly charged me for the food. At the end the mother had to interfere and serve me the food that supposed to take only 20min. Excellent food and service - reasonable price, clean environment. We ate griots, fried fish, bouillon, rice and beans, corn meal, legumes at Kanasuk. We also ordered take out for a group of people and the response was unanimously positive. We are still talking about how excellent and tasty 😋 the food was. Claudette also provided some catering service for our beloved mother funerals. Everything was done with great taste; excellent and attentive service was provided by two Kanasuk hostesses. We were served Soup Joumou, macaroni salad, spicy chicken wing, patés, fresh fruits, and an excellent Haitian cake. Claudette is very dedicated and truly excels in her trade; she was attentive to our needs, supportive and caring. It is without hesitation that we are recommending Kanasuk. On March 1st, 2025, I had the pleasure of having Kanasuk Catering provide the buffet for my sister's funeral reception. The owner made the planning process smooth and stress-free. Although they offer set menus on their website, she was incredibly flexible and customized everything to our preferences. The food was outstanding, the service was excellent, and everything we requested was delivered exactly as promised. Our guests were so impressed that many asked who the caterer was before leaving.
