Okay, I’m not the one to write reviews but I had to write one after what happened. So, me and my friend entered the restaurant and she welcomed us very nicely, but once we were seated, she instantly became very rude for no reasons. She kept looking at me up and down, rolling her eyes down when I was ordering. My friend, a guy, received his food and drink very fast and kindly. I received my drink 30 minutes after him. I had to ask another waitress to have mine. I ordered my poke bol without coriander, and I told my waitress why I can’t eat coriander. Guess what was in my plate, coriander AS A DECORATION. She was smiling when she gave it to me. The poke bol wasn’t even good, had pineapple with my salmon (?) and my rice wasn’t even fully cooked nor hot!
She didn’t even gave us a water refil.
We asked her 3 times to have our tab, the restaurant was more than fully staffed, and she had maybe 3 tables max. When we were FINALLY able to pay, we gave her no tip, she made a duckface, rolled her eyes and aggressively put his receipt in her pocket. When I paid and did the same as my friend, no tip, she looked at me dead in the eyes and walked away while still looking at me as if I was the problem. I was always nice with her.
She shouldn’t work here, she was very disrespectful and inappropriate, Unprofessional
I DONT RECOMMEND, food wasn’t even worth it,...

Staff still great and friendly.
La Bouef Burger -- melted cheese (like the cheese you'd get in a cheese dip) with jalapenos, and blue nacho chips inside. So it tasted like a cheese dip Burger...AWESOME 🤤
The food took a long time to come out after we ordered it, and we were charged $3.25 for getting onion rings instead of fries, even though the waiter made it sound like it was a no charge side options when taking out order...not cool.
Food was still good though, but I just don't like surprises like that.
Original Review 2018 (4 stars)
100% Chuck beef burgers, with a side of EXCELLENT staff!!
The burger patties are thick, juicy, and the combination of toppings/condiments are really interesting.
The waitress took her time to explain the menu and the different options.
Captain Flam -- excellent Classic Cheese -- good Poutine -- good Fries -- ok
The only issues were the fries (weren't crispy), the prices are a bit on the expensive side, and it gets really noisy when it's someone's birthday... Similar celebration they'd do at East Side Mario, or Lone Star for your birthday. It just feels like it doesn't fit the image of the restaurant.
Definitely try this place and you'll be happy...
Hmm how to describe my overall experience at La belle & La boeuf?!? I have already eaten at this place quite a while ago and from what I remember it was a positive experience and I wanted to go back again and again.
Omg but this time it is really not the best!!! The welcome and designation of a table was very quick, however the waitress does not offer a welcome that invites us to come back. Let's say that we do not seem welcome, tone of voice directive, dry and half haughty.
We had the lunch special, either the burger or grilled cheese, in neither case was it that, it was more like grilled cheese with lobster or breaded chicken burger. The special came with a soup, the meal and a dessert. The mushroom soup definitely came out of a can. The chicken burger, if you can call it that, was completely drowned in mayonnaise, after 2 bites you feel sick. The lobster grilled cheese?!? Uh, where's the lobster? Do you have to pay extra? It was mixed with salmon I think and also drowned in mayonnaise. With the cabbage salad with more mayonnaise!!! Let's just say that I had had enough Well to finish with the dessert 🍨, nice to look at but after the first bite you think what the hell is that? It looks like a brick because it was so compact, it's heavy just to swallow. Seriously, if it's to attract future customers, it might not go well for the future. After discussing it with those around me, everyone confirmed my impressions, and like them, I'm not going back there anymore. I didn't like the experience I had at all. It starts off badly when you're not welcomed well and the food leaves so much to be desired. It's a shame it's not like the very first time...
