Poulet Rouge — Restaurant in Montreal

So my first three orders were scrumptious. Today's lunch order, however, was awful. So I guess it all depends on who works in the kitchen. This time the chicken was cold and undercooked. The strips had only darkened due to a dirty grill. So I guess whoever was in the kitchen got lazy and didn’t clean the grill. To add oil to the fire, not only were the chicken strips undercooked but they had pieces of charcoal on them as if they cleaned the grill with the chicken breasts before adding them to the dish. Still, after writing this review, someone from the restaurant did reach out to me and told me that measures were taken and it should no longer happen. I'm willing to give this another try. I used uber eat and it listed this restaurant on Saturday. It was 4:40pm and I ordered food to pickup,I wasn’t far from this branch. But this branch is located inside a shopping mall and the shopping mall had a huge line-up. The restaurant closes at 5pm. I couldn’t get into the shopping mall to pickup before it closes. Even though I canceled the order, but Uber didn’t refund me as they say the restaurant processed the order.

This is the restaurant’s mistake to list their name for pickup while it is not easy to get into the shopping mall in a short time.

This particular location has very little atmosphere as it's located in the food court of les galeries d'anjou, so don't take that as a negative against the restaurant itself. For the food, the veggies are always fresh crunchy, the sauces are each unique and tasty and the bases are a good addition. However, quite often the chicken is over cooked and on the dry, tough side, rather than tender.
