I recently had the pleasure of having dinner at this restaurant. The experience was nothing short of wonderful. I am Lebanese and moved to Canada 10 years ago. I am quite familiar with dishes from the Levant that Mirage offer. The authenticity and freshness of the food was unrivalled in my experience. I enjoyed hummus, eggplant dip/mutabal, falafel, grilled halloumi cheese, cheese manaeesh, and last but certainly not least tabouleh. The tabouleh salad, as many know, requires to be freshly prepared to truly shine. At Mirage, it was prepared right after I placed the order and it truly showed. Not only that, the balance of the ingredients was almost perfect. The food arrived in a short amount of time. Furthermore, the customer service by the waiting staff was exceptional. They were very welcoming and were very attentive to make sure our table's needs were met. Finally the manager was a pleasure to talk to and very hospitable. I had not realized that my order of lentil soup had not made it to my table until I received the bill at the end of my meal. A simple mistake and I had leftovers anyway! I asked the manager to simply switch it out for an order of turkish coffee to end my deal. He was a little embarrassed, in a good way, and was insistent on making it up to me. Within a couple of minutes, I had two desserts, for myself and my partner, on the house, at my table(they were also delicious). Two cups of turkish coffee were prepared by the manager himself and served at my table in the traditional manner. I was more than happy with how the manager dealt with the situation.

In conclusion, the combination of the authentic fresh food, the exceptional and timely customer service, and the wonderful down to earth manager, leave me no choice but to wholeheartedly recommend this place to anybody that is a fan of Mediterranean...

Atmosphere: Cozy upscale mediterranean restaurant. Service: The food took a very long time to arrive and we had our order come wrong or drinks forgotten. We mentioned there was stickers on the tomato in the salad and hair in several dishes, including in the rice, hummus and salad and the staff just did not seem to care about it. I understand if low cost restaurant has this, but this is a more upscale restaurant, making it weird. Food: Food was good, where the 1kg grill platter we got was very flavorful but slightly overcooked (chicken and beef was tough). Amazing fries and great kafta. Falafel were crispy, fresh and delicious. Value: Slightly overpriced Date visited: 2023-01-20 at 7:20pm Revisited restaurant on 2023-02-07 Cook who created the food safety hazard was removed from the kitchen. Experience greatly differed: Service: The waitress helped us pick the food and gave us great suggestions. We had the 1kg platter again, where they served amazing variety of meat dishes accompanied with delicious sides. Serving time greatly improved from around 30-40 min wait time for food to arrive after ordering to around 15 min. No hair or sticker found in the food this time, experience was greatly improved. Food: Filet mignon, kafta and roasted tomatoes were delicious. Chioken was slightly dry when we ran out of garlic sauce. for the amount of meat, the accompanying hummus and garlic sauce was slightly lacking in quantity from my experience coming there and ordering the 1kg platter twice. Delicious fruit smoothies (mango and strawberry) and the moroccan tea was a great addition to the meat focused meal adding a balance to our exprience.

I recently ordered a takeout lamb roast, and I must say it was a delectable treat. The aroma of the roasted lamb filled my kitchen as soon as I opened the container, instantly making my mouth water. The meat was tender and succulent, cooked to perfection with a beautiful caramelized crust. Each bite was a burst of flavors, with the rich, savory taste of the lamb blending harmoniously with the aromatic spices and herbs used in the marinade. The portion size was generous, providing me with enough leftovers for another meal. The accompanying sides, such as roasted potatoes and seasonal vegetables, complemented the lamb perfectly, adding additional layers of taste and texture to the overall experience. The packaging was secure and ensured that the food stayed warm during transport. The restaurant took care to include all the necessary condiments and sauces, enhancing the flavor profile of the lamb even further. As for the value, the price was reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the meal. It was a satisfying and convenient option for enjoying a restaurant-quality lamb roast in the comfort of my own home. If you're a fan of lamb and looking for a delicious and hassle-free dining experience, I highly recommend trying their takeout lamb roast. It's a fantastic choice for a special occasion or when you simply crave a mouthwatering, comforting meal.

Mirage restaurant is one of the first restaurants I visited in Montreal. It has been a long time since the last time I went there. The decorations are so authentic and take you back home. The atmosphere is cozy and nice. As I went again today and it is Ramadan so we were alone in the restaurant. They have tablets with Ramadan’s new menu and the new dishes and appetizers. You choose what you want and then the waiter takes your orders. The waiter was so respectful and attentive. We ordered fried jalapeños. They were delicious and not that spicy. We ordered lentil soup that was nice too. My friend ordered shish Tawook and I ordered kebab halabi. The kebab was a bit spicy and a bit salty for me but all in all it was good. Then we had some Moroccan tea with mint. Mirage is one of the best Mediterranean restaurants with good food and good prices generally. The washroom is wide and clean too. The experience was nice and worth it.
