My friend and I had a lovely time and enjoyed our drinks. My friend paid for the drinks and then realized we were charged six drinks instead of four. We let the server know and she said, "I'm 95% sure I brought you each three drinks." I patiently explained to her that we ordered three times because we never received drinks after the second time we ordered. We waited a long time and assumed she had forgotten the order (along with water) so we ordered a third time. When we got our second drinks, we asked for water again and then the waitress noted she had forgotten. We are 100% sure we did not consume three drinks each. I'm still breastfeeding and I keep track of what I consume and when. I wait three hours per drink before feeding my baby and I definitely had to feed my baby before nine hours from then. The waitress indicated the bar had made three drinks each but again, we received two each. Could it be they went elsewhere? Someone else took them? Another staff member then said we were the only table outside, which was incorrect. Another table was there and they left before we paid. The whole incident was bizarre and they were rather unnecessarily rude and defensive. They eventually refunded two drinks, albeit begrudgingly and without tax and tip. I will not speculate as to what contributed to this waitress' memory impairment, but I hope she gets the...
Read moreWent to N Bar last night with my girlfriend to meet friends. Everything was going great until one of the bartenders came up to us and told us that we were no longer welcome in the bar and that she was throwing us out. The bartender's name is Sabrina. We thought she was joking but she kept telling us to leave. We had two drinks that we hadn't even finished and she didn't want our money, she just wanted us out. We were not noisy or causing any trouble and completely sober. We kept asking her why she was throwing us out and finally she said that it was her co-worker, Joanna, that wanted us to leave. Her co-worker was at the other end of the bar talking to other clients and never interacted with us even once the entire time we were there. Everyone at the bar was shocked including our friends. We politely complied, put our coats on and was escorted to the door by Sabrina the bartender. We were embarrassed and humiliated for no reason at all. What a huge difference from 6 months ago when we were last there and were served by a bartender named Natasha if I remember correctly. Our friends left after paying their bill. What a horrible experience. We will never go to N Bar again and can no longer recommend it to friends...
Read moreI met up with a friend at NsurMackay for a couple of beers, and it was my first time visiting, so I had no expectations going in. We arrived close to suppertime, and the place was quiet, which made for a calm and relaxed atmosphere. The space itself is quite inviting — the decor is a tasteful mix of modern and classic touches, with warm lighting and comfortable seating that makes it easy to settle in and enjoy a conversation.
The bartender was friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive, which added to the relaxed vibe. The beers were cold and refreshing, exactly what I was hoping for after a long day. It’s the kind of place that feels low-pressure, where you can unwind, catch up with friends, and enjoy a few drinks without feeling rushed.
Overall, NsurMackay made a very good first impression. The combination of the inviting decor, attentive service, and quality drinks makes it a spot I’d happily return to. It’s ideal for casual meetups or just a quiet evening out to enjoy a couple of cold beers and...
