Pizza Lion — Restaurant in Montreal

So I've been going to Pizza Lion about 20 times and out of the 20 times I've been there they got my order wrong about 8 times. Don't get me wrong most of the food there is great, it just gets repetitive when I order something and ask for something and they give me something else or don't give what I asked for. I once went there and asked for Halal sub and as I was waiting one of the worker said "Hey bro I made a mistake instead of making halal I made pepperoni sub is that okay for you?" To me I found that very offensive because as a Muslim I DON'T EAT PORK so of course I said "no thats not what I asked for give me what I asked for". Another time I asked for a club sandwich and instead of giving me a club sandwich they gave me two boxes of their dry wings and because they put their food in a brown paper bag I wasn't able to tell if they got my order correct until I got home. The following day I went back there and told the cashier that they got my order wrong for the 7th time and pleaded to her to get my order correct this time. I asked her a for club sandwich and instead of giving me gravy can you give me ketchup instead she said yes for sure. As I was getting my order she said "I made sure I put ketchup in there" I said thank you and left. When I got home and was about to eat I was looking for the ketchup and guess what THERE WAS NO KETCHUP. I said enough is enough and went back and told the cashier you didn't give me any ketchup and she said "I did I put it under the club I promise you I did". Guess what she was lying because she never did put any ketchup under my club AND EVEN IF SHE DID why would you put ketchup underneath a club that just doesn't make any sense. Anyways these are my own complaints and I hope one of the workers see's this so that they can improve on their listening skills making a mistake once or twice is alright but 8 times is...

I used to love this place when it was Pallo Pizza, but customer service and quality has greatly declined since it has changed to Lion. The lady who takes the orders asks customers to speak in English and not in polite way (I am English but other members of my household are not). Last Friday, the delivery guy told me (and not as a request) to add a tip when he handed me the payment terminal. I'm a regular customer ordering 2-3 times a month and always leave tip. It was the first time I'd seen this one, but still... at least he said thank you. The pizzas arrived cut extremely off center so we had really tiny pieces on one side and huge pieces on the other, very little cheese starting a good 2 inches away from the crust and most of it nearer to the middle. The quality of the pizza is far from what it was before. It's really a shame because this used to be my favorite pizza place.

Today when we called and asked for delivery, the lady just started talking to other people not asking us to hold or anything, once again, not very customer friendly. We were fed up so we hung up and...

This is the only pizza/fried chicken place my husband I go to. We've been coming here for years because everything about it is just stellar. The food, service, quality, staff - it's all wonderful. We also love the fact that there are so many halal options, the owner is very kind and respectful and is like family to us. The food is just amazing. The pizzas are always cheesy, the chicken wings are always perfectly fried and crispy (never burnt!), and if you haven't yet, I highly recommend trying their subs and chicken club sandwich -- you won't look back. We are so happy and comfortable here, my husband often brings me here for our fun date nights because the atmosphere is so cozy and the food is incredibly satisfying.
