MUST TRY WHEN VISITING MONTREAL

Wife, toddler and myself visited Montreal from Toronto for a few days. We were craving Turkish and came upon this restaurant.

Turned out to be one of the most delicious Turkish meals we had ever had in my 23 years in Canada. It was so good that in fact we came for dinner the next day as well! (We NEVER go twice during visits as we like to explore different restaurants - but the food was just too delicious!)

Delicous soup, food, dessert and tea. Fast service Decent price Friendly staff. Tidy and clean seating area Baby chairs available Clean washrooms. X Parking is street so not sure how it is during busy times... we came at night both times.

The cashier was really nice to us. The food was also good and felt very homemade, their salads are also very good. My main issue is a hygienic one. As we were dining in, one of the staff was cleaning/feather dusting the metal/fan top just above the rotating broiled meat. I was eating and looked at my food while she was basically sprinkling dust on the meat. As another staff was putting their dough in and out of the oven, she was cleaning the top of the oven and we could see dust going on the dough. I must say, it's the closest I've come to experiencing the true flavors of a genuine doner. I highly recommend this place.

Firstly, as someone who appreciates authentic doner, I was relieved to find that this restaurant understands what makes a doner truly great.
