NEW OWNER: A Must-Visit Culinary Gem: 5/5 Stars
It’s rare to come across a restaurant that fires on all cylinders, but let me tell you—this one absolutely nails it! Under the guidance of a new owner since early 2024, who honed his craft at esteemed establishments like Vinnie Gambini’s and Del Frisco’s, this spot is delivering a dining experience that demands attention.
Let’s start with the atmosphere, which is nothing short of enchanting. Trailing vines overhead, soft glowing lights, and a charming fireplace create a warm, inviting space that’s become increasingly rare in today’s fast-paced dining world. It’s a haven of coziness and acceptance—a place that feels like it’s wrapped in a warm hug. Whether you’re hosting a business meeting, enjoying a romantic wine-and-dine evening with your spouse, or bringing the kids out for a memorable family meal, this space adapts perfectly. (Yes, they even thought of the kids, offering coloring pages and crayons to keep little ones happy!)
Special mention goes to the staff, particularly our waitress, Clara, whose attentiveness and kindness elevated the experience further. Honestly, the entire team exudes the kind of respect and hospitality that’s become a delightful rarity.
Now, the food. Oh, the food! Each dish arrives bursting with flavor, clearly prepared with care and intention. The chef’s skill shines in how every element on the plate has its own distinct, savory identity. Nothing feels rushed or generic—this is cooking that honors its ingredients.
We ordered a variety of dishes to test the waters, and every bite was a revelation. The chicken tenders were crispy perfection, the fish and chips flaky and golden, the chicken avocado salad fresh and vibrant, and the penne arrabbiata had just the right kick to balance its rich, comforting sauce. Everyone at the table was delighted.
But save room for dessert, because this is where the magic truly shines. The cannoli—hands down, the best I’ve ever had. And the triple chocolate cream cheese cake? Mind-blowing. Decadent, indulgent, and worth every calorie.
This is not just a restaurant; it’s a celebration of great food, ambiance, and hospitality. If you’re not already planning your visit, let me make it clear: missing out on this place is missing out on one of the best culinary experiences around. Trust me—this is a war worth waging for foodies, families, and fine diners alike.

Read moreI admit, we've been living on Ile-Bizard for a few years and hadn't exactly been tempted to try out LaFlamme. My wife is a bit...fancy..and the menu felt a little...rive-sud...if you catch my drift. One evening about a month or two into lockdown, we had just put the kid to bed and we decided to start a movie. We picked a cheezy 90s movie...beverly hills cop..#3 to be exact if my memory serves correct. One of us had the brilliant idea that enjoying this flick with a pizza would edge into the domain of something almost magical. Ok..maybe I'm exaggerating..but it felt like a really good idea at the time, even if we already had dinner. Normally, I make my own pizza, but it was 9:15PM already and we kind of wanted something now. Did I mention the kid? Normally we are both in bed before 10PM these days! We looked around on google and quickly realized that we the shortest path to satisfaction for this craving/idea was probably going to be LaFlamme..why not! We called, placed our order, and I hopped in the car to go pick it up.
The smell on the ride home was pure torture. I probably broke a few traffic regulations on the way home, including texting my better half to get everything ready in the TV room because we were getting right to business. Pure pleasure!
All this to say, what was once something doubtful in our eyes has now become our favorite guilty pleasure on our little island. Worth...

We’ve ordered delivery a few times and our orders were wrong most of the time after waiting 1+ hour to get our food.
We decided to give their dining room a try. I’m definitely not returning. The entire time, we could hear the chefs screaming at everyone. We waited way too long for our food and it was mushy. Fries tasted like they had been sitting out for a while before being served. I was also charged extra for ordering sauce on the side. Didn’t understand that.
The bacon on our 12$ salad was clearly not real bacon. Not sure how a salad of that quality costs 12$. The dining room was extremely cold and when we asked to adjust the heat, our waitress told us it’s not allowed.
Overall extremely unimpressed by the chefs, waitresses seem like they’re doing their best but management seems like it needs some drastic improvements in professionalism.
Won’t be supporting this...
