I had such a bad experience here. The owner/manager was INCREDIBLY rude and dismissive for absolutely no reason. I was with 2 friends and we just finished a 1 hour walk and decided to pit stop for lunch. We sat outside on the terrace with my small 5lb dog. She was panting and I didn’t have any water left. Not to use their glasses they serve people, I asked for a small paper cup to pour water in. The owner rudely told me no because it’s a “tripping hazard” if I leave it on the floor of the terrace. I was understanding of this so I reassured him I would go out to the sidewalk to give my dog water and he can then watch me throw the cup out in the garbage to reassure him that I would respect his wishes. He refused again and dismissively said he would put out a dog bowl that he uses all the time for random dogs walking by. I didn’t want to use it because I once had a dog that caught a parasite by sharing a public water bowl. I explained this to him and instead of being understanding, he rudely rolled his eyes at me and walked away as if I was the most annoying person in the world. Why??? ALL I WAS ASKING FOR WAS AN EMPTY PAPER CUP TO GIVE MY DOG WATER AWAY FROM THE RESTAURANT! I am so disappointed because I have been going to this place for years with my family for lunch, dinner and ice cream and the audacity this man had to be sooooo rude to a paying customer. Even my friends were disgusted and suggested we get up and leave. Not to make a scene I still stayed for lunch and even left a 20% tip because the waiter seemed like he felt awkward, it wasn’t his fault it was the owners fault, but I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND SUPORT YOUR RESTAURANT YOU HAVE THE WORST ATTITUDE I HAVE EVER SEEN. Incredibly disrespectful. FYI being...

When you first arrive, you’re greeted not with a smile, but by a man who makes it very clear you’re not welcome to even pause on the terrace with your bike. Both times we stopped by, there was nobody else outside, and yet he immediately told us to move the bike, even though we were only there for 2 minutes.
I also asked politely if they had slush since the menu seemed a bit small, and his cold reply was: “If we have it, it’s on the menu.” No interest in helping or engaging with customers at all.
It’s a shame because the location is actually nice, but the poor attitude really ruins the vibe. We won’t be coming back, we’ll go a bit farther next time for a...
Read moreI noticed this place years ago but never stopped by until recently.
They're the only place I know of to have Bilboquet ice cream, made with 100% natural ingredients (their vanilla hard ice actually has vanilla seeds in it). They also have regular soft serve vanilla and chocolate ice cream and sorbet.
They serve American-style sandwiches, subs, burgers and pizza and Chinese-style soup. They've got a nice selection of poutines (their bacon poutine is their best one) and a nice dessert menu..
Enjoy a meal inside their restaurant or on their terrace across the street from...
