The Sri lankan food here is always blessed and delicious. There are many vegan friendly options. My favorite dishes to order are the vegé kothu roti (diced roti bread mixed with fried onions/hot peppers, soya meat/spicy eggplant curry) and the vegé briyani (briyani rice mixed with soya meat/spicy eggplant curry). The portions are always gracious and filling. The appetizers and the indian dishes however can be a hit or a miss. To enter go through the Amiens party hall entrance, going up to the second floor and walk through the first hall room and enter the second hall. In the second hall you will see a counter and its here you order your food. No seating for now and remember to call before you go, I heard that they close the restaurant whenever the party halls are being used.

Best restaurant in the Montreal, I went with my parents. the Biryani was very good and fresh, we loved it. If anyone wants to try out a Indian restaurant, I definitely recommend coming here. The staff is also very nice.

We were from Toronto. We don’t know where to go for traditional food. Finally we went to Royal king not realizing they only did take outs. We wanted to sit relax and eat. As we were leaving, I believe he is owner , approached and asked why were leaving? When we explained. He asked us to come inside and treated us like if had family or close friends visited him. Such a nice gentleman. We were really blessed to be in his place. He had the food prepared as per our requests. He went beyond any expectations. We are so thankful. Great man with a great heart and well organized team serving the best...

Royal king makes the best vegetarian kothu roti that I have ever had. The owner was super nice and caters to your specific requests (I asked him to use the least amount of oil and he did). He made us a delicious vege kothu roti dish with eggplant curry and soya meat and it was phenomenal. Honestly, him and his wife work hard and it shows in their food.
