Subway — Restaurant in Montreal

DO NOT LET YOUR KIDS GO TO THIS LOCATION! My 13 year old son went to this location for lunch and was charged more than the advertised price for his food. We are investigating this location right now but so far it appears that a “forced” tip may have been added to his bill without his knowledge, so far this is the only explanation due to the amount being a round number (calculated after tax). Either that or the prices advertised are false but it wouldn’t add up to the difference charged if so. If they are taking advantage of children, this would be considered fraud. We are going to pursue this every way possible now for answers. If the advertised price is billed higher at the cash register, according to Quebec law, the order should have been free or $10 off and based on their advertised price, we can not come up with the same total charged to our son. This may slip through most people but if we are onto a scam here, we absolutely want to put an end to it. I don’t typically leave negative reviews, but the service here was so garbage that I actually find myself humanly obligated to warn you about how terrible this place is. Firstly it’s double the price of subway at normal locations, which is expected cuz we’re at an amusement park, however the service is actually awful. All 3 of the staff members working at the time of this message need proper training in customer service because they have no people skills and honestly lack basic humanity. My friends had ordered 5 minutes before me and all got free water cups, and when I asked for one the guy refused. I ignored it and went on with my day, I then was eating my sandwich and all my friends had water and I realized how wrong this was. I then went back up and kindly asked to just have some water to go with my sandwich. He then said no he can not and told me to go to the water fountain, I said you gave my friends cups and he ignored me. I loved the food there, since im a vegetarian i order the veggie wrap and it was DELICIOUS. Since the store is right in front of the entry me and my family can order and sit by the fountain while the kids play on the horses. Also the cookies that are hand made are absolutely amazing and we all die for them. I also really enjoyed the service because this year they are including a lot of young adults to work and it just makes me smile the fact that they are so nice and energetic at their age. They are serious about their work and never joke around when the customers are in front of them
