I go here every morning before work. Not because it's great, but because it's the only place even remotely on my route I can grab a coffee in the morning. Until about 6 months ago, the drive-through was slow. Very slow. Then they decided to make it fast. It must be one of the fastest Tim Hortons drive-throughs in the country now. Unfortunately, this made the already not great food inedible. Breakfast sandwiches served ice cold. Donuts laughably stale. They store the donuts on an open rack just inside the open drive-through window. It's no wonder that they are stale. Service is ummm, "surly". If you order anything more complicated than coffee and donuts, expect to be instructed to go park in the alley and wait for it. Food is often handed out the window with the employee's back turned to you and not a single word spoken. The people on the speaker can't even manage a "please pull up", or "got it" after you order. They just go silent. For these reasons, I no longer order anything here but coffee and donuts. My morning order has gone from $12.00 a day to less than $5.00. This place would be put out of business overnight if a halfway decent McDonalds opened in the...
Read moreI go to this Tim a few times a month. It's fast, but some of the employees look very sad and in a bad mood, depending on the time I go. It's usually clean during the day and there is a fair amount of pastries available, even later in the day.
I don't like how cheap they've gotten though. For almost 20$ I got 2 small "pizzas" that were basically bread and cheese with traces of chicken and bacon. There was too much cheese, not enough sauce and about half of the meat I get at other Tim Hortons. The chicken was shredded so thinly to stretch it and make it "cover" the pizza, but you could barely feel the taste. And because it was so thin, it had gotten extremely dry in the oven. The "loaded" wraps I get here are also pityful. My roast beef sandwich had a thin single layer of beef that was half nerves and tendons, unchewable and quite disgusting. I have decided to stop coming here and go to another Tim, even if it's a bit out of my way. Tired of...
Read moreThere is an issue every time I go to this Tim Hortons. Typically the drive thru has me pay at the window and makes me advance to a separate door to wait for my order, even when not a single other car is in line behind me. I know they are trying to respect drive thru times (data is collected while the car is at the window) but they are faking their data and taking forever (5-10 minute wait, no exaggeration, for one breakfast wrap to be delivered to the separate back door) to get the orders out when there is no pressure to get the order completed. I went inside today to give them a chance to change my mind, and the space is clean, but service is still exceptionally slow.
If you are not in a hurry, this is an okay option for coffee and snacks, but if you plan to make it part of your daily commute to work, plan ahead for a long wait at the drive thru, no matter the...
