Tomate Basilic Pointe aux Trembles — Restaurant in Montreal

I’ve gone to tomate basilic for many years before the pandemic, and before that too, yesterday June 22 2025 I decided to go back with a friend to have supper, The service was mediocre the bread was served cold and no butter was served with the bread, the water was warm served in a glass after deciding what to order my friend ordered a seafood entree and pasta with seafood for dinner I myself ordered the artichoke calamate olives with some tomato sauce and onions the sauce was not good and it was not the way it used to be I didn’t like the taste at all the waiter was not very responsive no butter and had to ask another waitress for the butter and then the bread I asked for extra because it wasn’t enough for two people on the way out I asked for an entree of calamari entree for my girlfriend to take home when I got it and looked inside the bag wow not only was there a few pieces but it was not good at all and for the price two pasta dishes two entrees and a litre of wine home wine was definitely disgusting left the wine on the table and then the price two pasta dishes two entree one litre of wine $125.00 dollars never going back at that price the meals should of been amazing not so again high price for food not made the way it was and Italian restaurant no way it’s more fast food Italian restaurant good for people who don’t know about real...

Was staying in hotel next door so I visited this restaurant 3 days in a row. Unfortunately i was faced with a server named Roxann who was either racist against me or discrimated my colleague due to her tattoos. She did not come to take our order even when we told her we were ready. Waited over 45 mins. A table was seated after us and had ordered and eaten there meals. I addressed this with the manager who also didn't really care. Gave us a different waitress but did not seem apologetic nor showed any compassion. J’ai amené ma mère pour fêter ses 86 ans et cette aventure a tourné au cauchemar! En premier lieu nous avons été servis rapidement pour les entrées. Un groupe arrive après nous à la table à côté et notre serveuse a littéralement disparu et nous avons attendu 2 heures pour le repas principal. Même la table a cote de nous avait quitté …j’ai même mentionné lors de ma réservation qu’il s’agissait d’une personne âgée et que c’est son anniversaire. Après une attente de 2 heures la serveuse arrive avec les plats. Arrivé au desserts, je n’ai pas besoin de vous dire que nous n’avons rien pris et que nous voulions quitter! Bravo. C’était bien mal organisé. Si cela avait été un repas normal ok, mais ruiner l’anniversaire d’une personne âgée … pas vraiment. Une personne me contacte après avoir remplie un formulaire de plainte et m’offre un autre visite. Je n’ai pas besoin de mentionner que les 5 personnes ont tous dit non. Elle m’offre alors des certificats cadeaux pour des repas à emporter. Ok pourquoi pas. Je passe 2 semaine plus tard et… surprise la personne au comptoir ne sais pas de quoi je parle. Le gérant arrive, me dit qu’il va vérifier et me rappeler .. ok j’attends. Il me rappelle mais je manque l’appel et je le rappelle. Il est maintenant occupé… ok ça arrive je vais attendre son appel. La personne me répond qu’il va me rappeler et il ne l’a jamais fait. La nourriture est bonne mais le service est horrible. Je ne remettrai plus jamais les pieds dans cet établissement. J’ai même pris quelque gâteau au comptoir des repas congelé et nous les avons trouvé très ordinaire. Je ne recommande pas cet...
