What a truly stellar dining experience we had at Kam Loon Restaurant in Morris! From the moment we stepped through the door, the service was exceptionally friendly and warm, making us feel completely at home. It's rare to find a place that combines such delicious food with such a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. The whole dine-in experience was elevated by the great decor, which created a cozy and inviting backdrop for our family dinner. We're still talking about the food! The BBQ pork fried rice was a standout dish, with tender pork and perfectly cooked rice that was bursting with flavor. The sweet and sour chicken balls were absolutely tasty as well—crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with a sauce that had just the right balance of sweet and tangy. Heather and I both agreed that the quality of the ingredients and the care put into each dish really shone through. Our kids, Jacob and Emma, practically inhaled them! If we had to offer a couple of suggestions, it would simply be to expand the drink and dessert menu. It would have been wonderful to have a chocolate milk option for the kids, and adding a dessert would be the perfect way to finish off such a fantastic meal. However, these are minor details that don't detract from the fact that we absolutely loved our time there. It was just okay. I’m not sure if our experience of the food was affected by the fact that it had to be take out since we couldn’t eat in the restaurant due to COVID. However, I was not wowed by anything in particular from the menu. I was actually a little disappointed by the ginger beef because it was very sweet for ginger beef. I would definitely liken the food more to food court Chinese food just because of how the flavours were rather than what I would expect from a Chinese restaurant. I guess it was just too...
