Broger — Restaurant in Mount Royal

We recently relocated to the Ville Saint-Laurent area and were unfamiliar with Broger prior to our move from lower NDG. The burgers were ordered via the UberEats application. The burgers were delivered promptly, arriving hot, fresh, and exceptionally DEEELISH!! My wife ordered the classic 2.0 Burger as prepared in house. I opted for the 2.0 Bacon my Love Burger, with a request to omit certain toppings. Both burgers arrived exactly as ordered, were exceptional, characterized by their freshness and adherence to the authentic smash burger style. They featured crispy edges and a melt-in-your-mouth texture, achieving an ideal balance between thickness and the distinctive smash burger quality.. As avid burger enthusiasts, we found these burgers to be among the finest we've encountered since our relocation to Montreal a decade ago. The burgers were delivered promptly, maintaining their heat and freshness, and were presented exceptionally well. Our primary concern was the French fries, which were significantly overcooked, nearly burnt, and consequently inedible.

Despite the issue with our fries, as a retired Master Chef, we wholeheartedly recommend Broger and their excellent Smash Burgers, sadly we cannot endorse the fries based on our...

Stopped by with my wife to try out their burgers and fries. We both ordered a classic burger which is reasonable for $8.70 and I also got the Bacon Mon Amour burger for a whopping $14 which when combined with the combo made it $21. I found this expensive. The fries were ok but not cooked enough as they were a bit soggy and the portion was way too small for the $5 charged. The classic burger was good but found it a bit on the dry side since the bun is quite large and there wasn’t enough sauce. The Bacon Mon amour was excellent and a much better, although more expensive, option. We were warmly greeted by the young man at the counter and he was friendly, efficient and polite. A few tweaks and this place could rival Uniburger. Will be back and hope that my next experience is even better than my first. Worth a try for anyone...

Update 1 year later: still excellent! We have a menu suggestion: we heard a few people in town say they wish this beautiful gem of a restaurant had vegan options. That addition would allow more customers to enjoy your delicious dishes. --- Excellent, excellent, excellent. The quality and tenderness of the beef, the generous portion of veggies, and the freshness of the dishes make it well worth a regular visit to this place. The service is impeccable and friendly, and the food is always at the right temperature by the time we get home. Some favourites of ours are the chicken dumplings, boeuf les garçons, ginger beef or chicken, chicken pad Thai, chicken red curry. Their hours of operation are also very convenient.
