This is the very best hot chocolate we had in Montreal ever (hmmm, actually, for the last 17 years, since we moved to Montreal). Our comparative group is number of cafes around Opera in Paris ("famous" Angelina not taken into account - as it evolved into a rip-off tourists operation, in our opinion). Cappuccino is among the best ones in Montreal too. There are stuff (chocolates, cookies, sandwiches, etc) mostly from Europe for everyone's taste. When I go anywhere in this city and get impressed with the service I'd give the place 10 stars if I could regardless of how good or bad the food was. We all know how this is something that Montreal sadly misses. How about when the place checks off all the things on the list! Deserves 100 stars! Warm and welcoming service. Great coffee. Super cheap. Amazing pastries the tart and the croissants were super fresh buttery and flaky. The gelato is top, you can definitely taste the high quality of the ingredients. Found out about Leonidas four years ago on a trip to Belgium and have loved them since. As soon as I saw I could order online to Edmonton I contacted the store about an intolerance I have. So very impressed with Said, the manager, as he contacted me immediately and asked what I could and could not have. He told me to place my order and he would make sure I only received chocolates I could eat. They arrived within the week in mint condition.
