After waiting in line I ordered a hot dog. "Oh I'll have to make some more." The employee replies. And this is at the night market where there's literally a constant line for hot dogs. You wouldn't think it would be a surprise that you should probably start cooking more before you run out, when, you know, you literally only sell that one thing and there's a lineup.
It was clear he was going to just put some grill marks on the cold dogs and serve me one. Because everyone loves a cold dog with grill marks for $7. So I said I'll just have a smokie instead, which were sitting on the top rack.
So, $8 for a smokie, it's so overcooked you can't bite through it. And, amazingly... IT'S COLD!
I would never have thought in a million years that a hotdog cart is rocket science, but here we are.
And the debit machine has the audacity to prompt for a tip. Oh man.
I'll just make myself 12 actually hot hotdogs at home next time for...
Read moreWas looking forward to having a hot dog with my daughter, we talked about having one all week. We rarely eat hot dogs so it’s been about 5 years since I had one. We drove from Harewood to get one here because we remembered seeing it alot. The service was so dull like we were a complete disappointment to this person then of course there was almost no onion or relish on mine I was so disappointed. He spun the ketchup and mustard around that was neat. But overall the dog was dry because barely any relish. And I was so looking forward to this but 2 regular hotdogs for $14.50 I at least thought it be a good experience. Why wouldn’t people want to serve people like it’s the first hot dog they ever had and they’re going to love it?? I want to only post good reviews but it’s hard when good customer service doesn’t seem to...
Read moreThe best hot dogs (BBQ) in town! Famous Franks Hot Dog stand has been outside of the Canadian Tire for years but never on Google map. I figured they were worth adding because this is the best place to get any hot dogs in town!
They keep it simple with 4 choices of hot dog weiners they have a wide variety of sauces and toppings. I ordered the standard all beef hot dog ($6.75) with ketchup, mustard, sauteed onions and sauerkraut. The weiners longer than the hot dog bun. Juice, smokie BBQ grill flavor and texture! The bun was soft, chewy and was a perfect pairing. Personally I rather eat this BBQ hot dog over any fast food hamburger. The two employees I see there are usually chatting with regulars and are...
