Subway — Restaurant in Nanaimo

I just had the worst sandwich I've ever eaten. It started out okay but went downhill from there. We ordered a 12 inch Teryaki Chicken and a Turkey sandwich. With "everything". on them

The problem started when the girl who took my order put my sandwiches in the oven to toast. Once they were in the oven she went and served a customer who came in after me and left my sandwiches. That's when the other girl came out from the back and took my sandwiches out of the toaster and threw some lettuce tomato and onion and sauce on them, wrapped them up and left them at the end of the counter for the other girl to hand to me. So rather than screw over the large lineup that had formed behind me by fighting with someone who had no interest in the quality of the product they partially prepared, I paid for them and left thinking the sandwich would at least have been edible.

They weren't. Teryaki sandwiches shouldn't taste like tuna fish. Knives shouldn't be so dull they render the bread rather than cut it. When you order "everything" on a sandwich that should mean more than a few slices of cheese, some lettuce, some onion and a dash of the house sauce.

It may not mean much in the grand scheme of things but you've lost my business and I'm pretty sure with the poor service, the terrible product and the lack of customer service I won't be...

i came here roughly 2 days ago and bought a 6” sub and a m&ms cookie.. the cookie had a piece of hair cooked into it so i sent an email and called the store and they said they would replace the whole meal for free the next time i go in so i went in today told them my name and the situation the lady making my sandwich (i didn’t get her name but she was blonde) knew who i was and knew about the situation so she made my sandwich slide it across the counter to me then i ask “do i get the cookie too?” considering that was the reason they said they would replace my meal and she huffed and puffed at me, glaring at me so i got uncomfortable and offered to just buy it then if it was a big deal and she said in a snarky tone “well what cookie do you want then” she grabbed the cookie put it in a little bag and slid it across the counter at me i just grabbed them said thank you and walked away i’m not sure if im over thinking it but i think the way she acted was pretty out of pocket considering im not the one that is handing out cookies with...

This subway has amazing customer service , the young guy who works here is so positive about his job and brings customer service to a whole new level that you don't expect from fast food. He actually walked around after completing all the orders and asked each customer who was sitting in store if they were enjoying thier meal and if there was anything else he could do for them . He asked me if I'd like a glass of water; I said that'd be wonderful and then he proceeded to bring it to my table . He makes conversation with everyone AS he is making thier sandwich and get bangs out each order so quickly!...
