My original 2 star review is now a one star review since you wanted to blame the customer for the fact that your fries were impossibly hard to eat, they even hurt my adult teeth when I tried a fry out of my toddlers container. There was no toddler option as I checked the whole menu and would have ordered it. Should have shown the picture you are referring to because he clearly missed it and is your job as the employee to make sure the customer knows what they are ordering, also the gravy was wanted on because I was eating it right away, should have informed him it would get soggy quick then he would have asked me what I wanted, I was in the truck not far with the babies, which the employee knew because they showed me the container through the window. The fries were well OVER COOKED and SUPER HARD not sure how that is the customers problem and the price was 9 on the menu sign so no they are not 7 dollars as I read ALL prices, try not to lie to make yourself look better lol. Take accountability for your screw up and try not blaming the customer because you failed to make edible food and got a bad reply...
Read moreOrdered Angus Bacon Cheese Burgers and Poutines for the family.
The location was convenient to stop at for just travelling through, eventhough you order from a window in the gas station's parking lot.
The displayed prices include taxes, so what you see is what you pay; that was very appreciated.
The burgers were very small for the price.
The Poutines were just fries with an instant gravy mix, and eventhough they sell cheese curds, they use grated Mozzarella on the Poutines; for the price, we fully expected the Poutines to come with cheese curds!
Unfortunately, the girl who took our order was very rude, abrupt and lacked patience. Thankfully, the person who gave us our food had more people skills and was more personable.
$20/ person for just a small burger and a disappointing poutine without any drinks.
We won't be going...
Read moreStopped at French Fry Hut in Florenceville-Bristol for a quick bite. We tried the chicken, fish, and beef burgers, plus fries and poutine. Chicken and fish were decent, but the beef burger was underwhelming. Fries tasted exactly like store-bought McCain fries (not surprising since the factory is nearby). The biggest disappointment was the poutine—nothing like what you’d find in Quebec. It had mozzarella instead of cheese curds and a sauce that felt closer to IKEA meatball gravy. Worth a visit for the novelty, but definitely skip...
