Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in New Glasgow

I arrived about 8 pm. After a vehicle was leaving the drive through. I parked in the drive through waiting to get service. No response after a few minutes I drove to the window and tried to get service. A few minutes the vehicle behind me waiting for service left. I was waiting for someone to notice me in the drive through. Another vehicle drove up to make a order. A few minutes went bye and finally they made there order. I was still at the window waiting for service. Finally I was noticed made my order an purchased. I waited an reasonable time for my purchase. I left and the vehicle behind me could get there late purchase. Thank you the food was good but the Waiting in the drive through was quite unexceptable. Time is $$$ if you can let customers drive through unnoticed. The drive through was full when I left. And there were only a few customers inside. I was considering a larger order before...

This particular Dairy Queen location has been recently updated and actually does look quite wonderful inside. The food looked great when it first came to our table, but I was quickly disappointed as with in about 5 minutes my meal which consisted of chicken tenders with a honey barbecue sauce on them and french fries became cold food quite fast. My parents whom I went with both said their meals cooled very quickly as well. The young man who waited on us was very nice and helpful. But it was a shift change when we were mid meal and the gentleman who owns the place kept calling the workers in to the office once they got there and carried on conversations with the office door open, not very private and we were somewhat close and it was distracting. I had this review up in June and was asked to take it down to resolve the matter and I’ve been waiting for 5 months for DQ to make it right but they haven’t so here I am posting the review again because no action was made on their end.

The store had the dining area closed because the floor was being renovated so no dine in eating was allowed, understandable, but I arrived without a car and wanted an order to go and they said they would take my order if I stood in the drive thru.
