Cool Moose Ice Cream — Restaurant in New Tecumseth

I’m very honest when it comes to Reviews. I have been trying to Support local businesses as much as possible through these rough times. A couple weeks ago I decided to try cool moose’s ice cream for the first time. Prices are fair and their scoops were huge. I will give them that. The cookie dough ice cream was dreadful it had a very odd taste to it. The chunks of dough didn’t taste like dough at all it takes like coffee and brown sugar and I hate coffee. Just a very odd taste. The bubble gum was not good either the ice cream itself was ok but the pieces of actual bubblegum tasted horrible. Within 30-45 mins of consuming the ice cream my son complained to me his stomach hurt, 10 mins after him my stomach started to rumble as well. Long story short it took 5 days to clear up the explosive diarrhea we had. Which I’ve never experienced from eating ice cream. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. Took my wife, my 3-year-old daughter, and my 5-year-old niece out for some ice cream and found this little gem, Cool Moose Ice Cream, on Google—especially since my daughter has a dairy allergy. The staff were absolutely amazing and so friendly.

At one point, my daughter dropped her ice cream. When I went to pay for another one, they told me not to worry about it and replaced it without hesitation. That kind of kindness really goes a long way.

If you have not tried their various frozen treats, you have not lived! Everything is homemade, wholesome, ice cream. You can go with the basi flavours, however they put it in their own spin on them. I assume the ingredients are top notch. Or you can be adventurous and try one of their wild delightfully tasteful flavours. My wife and I enjoy this spot and ebn more so since she's been pregnant!
