Table For 2 Steak House — Restaurant in New Tecumseth

I don't know how everyone is giving this place good reviews. It was probably the worst steak anyone at my table has ever had. No one's meat was cooked to the right temperature. It was marinated in so much peppercorn it was almost inedible. When we complained to the waiter he asked us why we continued to eat. Well we were hungry and when we first told him our concerns he did not offer to fix the problem. He actually walked away as we looked at him. With a salad recall they had no other options.... Kale, spinach, arugula..anything? They had 1 dessert option which no one wanted. Oh and NO HOT beverages. Is this even a thing in a restaurant like this? It's not that hard to offer a tea or coffee or even 1 more dessert option. We ended up going to coffee culture for the rest of our meal. Very disappointing. Will never go back. Unfortunate for the town as we could use a good restaurant. If you want a nice local place serving steak, try Bistro 77. They never disappoint. Or you may have to leave town. You may even be better cooking your own steak. Lol Don't waste...

Last night my husband and I had such an amazing meal at Table for 2 Steakhouse! This was hands down one of the best steaks I have ever had. The steak medallion with the fire roasted sauce was incredible. The bacon wrapped medallion with the peppercorn sauce was breath taking. Both sauces complimented the meats so perfectly. A beautiful balance of spices and grilled brilliance. The vegetables were paired elegantly with the meats and truly made the plate into a work of art. We finished the evening off with a delicious, rich piece of cheesecake topped with a refreshing berry compote. Every bite of this meal was like a bite of heaven.

The server was so friendly and great at giving genuine recommendations. Even the Chef himself came up to our table to see how we were enjoying the meal! When talking to the Chef, you could see the passion he has for his food and how truly happy he is with his work. An inspiration to us all. We cannot wait to come back to this wonderful...

This was our second time there and the place has gone downhill. If you don't like seafood, you only get salad as an appetizer option...and because of the Romaine lettuce recall, they are not serving ANY salad...even though the salad specified Iceberg lettuce??? There are other green besides romaine lettuce out there. NO hot drinks...only options are alcohol or over priced pop. We stuck with water :( Menu lacks creativity and variety. Same sauces used on salmon, chicken and scallops. No pasta options. All salmon and chicken served with the same rice and vegetables. The steak was super low quality and wasn't even cooked properly. Asked for medium rare and it came blue rare. My honey salmon, the center was great but the bottom and top were so burnt it tasted bitter. Sides were plain rice and some carrots with couple zucchini(sides anyone can make at home). Only one option for desert!! Overpriced, nothing...
