Johnny's Pizza Alliston — Restaurant in New Tecumseth

We order pizza tonight, for delivery. We're told 1 hour, I called at the 1 hour 20 min mark to be told they hadn't even started our order they were very busy they were sorry they had staff not show up and we were looking at another half hour for our order. I call back at the 40 min mark to be told they were very busy and we're sorry and they still hadn't started our order. After telling me they would let me speak to the owner, I'm left to wait an additional 7 mins on the phone and still no owner. I canceled the order and will sadly say Goodbye to this establishment . I have order many times from this place and as much as I enjoy the food the customer service is never that great and this is the third or 4th time I have gone through similar experiences on wait times, this has been the longest time date though. I have yet to see any other pizza place in town take this amount of time to service their customers. To top it all off you are treated like you are bothering them trying to get info on your order and it was also prepaid. Just horrible, i’m not one to leave reviews and never bad ones but this was just not a good experience. I went in last week to pick up my order i placed online. I placed it an hour ahead and when i showed up they hadnt even started making my pizza yet. So i had to wait in store for another 45 minutes. That is fine though because i understand places are short staffed. I over heard the manager adrianna ( i think that’s her name) getting angry with the kids for not hurrying up while she just stood there on her phone. When she finally got off her phone 30 minutes later she took my pizza out of the oven and yelled “oh i guess i’ll get a pizza box my self then”. Why didn’t you look to see if there was a box before you took the pizza out instead of being snarky. You’re a grown adult treating kids poorly. I’m a mother and i wouldn’t ever let my kids work in a environment like this, it’s so frustrating because i love supporting small businesses but it’s hard when you see a business you love filled...

I'm not one to get upset and write bad reviews, I write this with a heavy heart. I understand business as I run my own businesses, but after speaking to the owner concerning the quality of the food, and being denied any type of refund, I'm forced to write this. I will say that the prices are great, no doubt.

I ordered 3 pizzas (beef, cheese, veggie) and wings for my son's birthday party.

Pizza The dough was extremely chewy the flavour was non-existent Wings (non-breaded) no seasoning at all, not even salt/pepper overcooked, dry, hard

My son, who loves pizza chose to go without eating rather than to eat it.

My hope is that the owner takes this as constructive criticism, revisits the recipes, trains the staff and not rely on "this is the way we've always done it".
