Foodie Panda — Restaurant in Niverville

Finally some dee-licious Chinese food! We tried this restaurant on New Year's Eve and were impressed. We had the lemon chicken, beef with black bean and garlic sauce, chicken chow mein, honey garlic chicken, beef with mixed vegetables and steamed rice. Everything was perfect. For the first time, the beef in a Chinese food dish was not something you had to chew for ten minutes to swallow. The lemon chicken sauce was not too sweet. The owner is a friendly, very kind woman who goes out of her way to make your visit a pleasant one. The plastic take-out containers are excellent for storing leftovers in the fridge. We made a smaller order tonight, and I know we will be back many more times in the future. You need to try...

Had lived in the city and just recently moved. So, I always have had Chinese food in Winnipeg.

The restaurant is right besides the Subway, and there is plenty of street parking.

After we sat and ordered, we got to chat a bit with Cindy. She was nice, and she brought out some Consomme soup as a starter.

We ordered the DELUXE FRIED RICE, DRY BREADED PORK , LEMON CHICKEN (sauce on side bowl), and DELUXE CHOW MEIN.

Food came fast, and everything tasted good.

Very welcoming staff and super attentive! Felt like our satisfaction was very important to her. We ordered the combination plates .First we got a bowl of soup which was tasty..our meals were enormous and everything was fresh and tasty..then she brought us ice cream. We all had enough leftovers to take for another full meal the next day. This place should be considered instead of the competition in town where we waited forever for our food. The only thing I'd suggest is making the decor a bit more classy and consider remodeling....other than that this restaurant impressed me...
