Kemptville Family Restaurant — Restaurant in North Grenville

My parents and I live in Kentville and we've been coming into your restaurant for a very long time. My dad before he died described it as being one of his favorite places for an egg roll.. . Service was always good and I think your price is spot on and your food was always amazing. Even your breakfasts were good

My mom still liked coming into your restaurant because it was like going to breakfast with Dad.

The last two times we have been in your restaurant, the food on the second last time we were in there was cold.... And my brother was with us and told your manager that your heat plate or whatever it is that you keep your food in. Wasn't keeping things warm in the back. The food was ice cold and the manager didn't like being criticized..... My brother explained to her what was wrong and she didn't take it very well.

My mother and I were in about 3 months ago.... And the food that was coming off of your grill tasted rancid..... People were complaining about the food in the restaurant and basically your manager was telling them that you they weren't being given their food for free.

Our food was sent back.... It came back out. The manager claimed that she gave us two new plates, the chicken balls were ice cold and your manager was rude about the criticism again.... The Bean sprouts also tasted rancid.... And I don't know if they're cooked in oil but the oil was definitely burned and they tried cleaning the grill.... That grill should have been shut down and the kitchen should have been cleaned.

I went back in the next morning hoping that I would get you because you've always been good about making things right.... And that's the reason why we came back.... Again your manager was working. She was rude to me when I went in when I asked her for your number.... She said that she wasn't giving it out.... And we were refunded our money.

Your food quality is slipping.... You should be dealing with that manager. Maybe a replacement is needed.... It's not like you don't have any competition in kempville.... But Eli, you were always our first choice.... Because of how you've dealt with my parents in the past.

I don't like restaurants, especially nice little family places that are Independence like yours closing down..... Please fix the problem before I see it for sale sign in front of that place.... You are an amazing guy and your customers. Love you!..... Dude you need to do something about...

The server needs to be fired! Just left this restaurant 20 minutes ago and I have never felt so much racism in all of my life! Funny part is… Im white and so is the server! She treated myself , my husband and my two children like we were green! We were starving and dropped in for breakfast as the reviews looked great and so did the food! We arrived and were seated within 3 minutes and served coffee quickly. We ordered our breakfast ( which took just over an hour for four plates of bacon and eggs…. The kids had pancakes. My 6 year old cried ( quietly) two times as it took so long. That is not the reason for the review though! My husband and I saw a table of two guys that ordered a Caesar ( a drink ) they were garnished with lemons and a full pickle in each ) ours came with nothing and the server made a point to mention they just ran out of garnishes. Two more men ( locals ) sat down and ordered the same drinks , magically two minutes later the lemons and pickles were back in stock !???? My husband and I laughed quietly to ourselves. I decided after one hour of waiting to order another drink …. The server came out with 3 drinks in her hand , one for me with no pickle, 2 for the other table of locals with pickles inside both! She saw the look on my face and after she dropped off all the drinks went into the kitchen and brought me a tiny slice of pickle in a plate and said “ look we found one” This treatment is unacceptable! We were very polite from the moment we walked in the door. Don’t stop if you aren’t local , you won’t get what you pay for and you definitely won’t get a smile! The owner needs to do some interviews! A staff change would definitely be in your...

Stopped in Kemptville at this restaurant. Never been here before.

5 of us. Service was super fast. Food was prepared really fast also and they were busy. 3 order of 2 pieces of fish and chips . 1 order of chicken fingers and fries. 1 order of salad that came with the lasagne.

The girls said that the fish was fantastic. 1 had lasagne, peperoni, mushroom, bacon, noodles and sauce....it was unbelievable fantastic. Salad was as fresh as can be . Grandson had the chicken fingers as the pieces of chicken were really big and couldn't finish it, so it was going home.

I highly recommend this place and like I said I have never been here before but I will tell you this, if I am ever in this area again or going camping I will be dropping in guaranteed.

The lasagne came with a side salad or soup at $17.95 and I chose the salad. Fresh fresh lettuce, the onion you will be tasting for a few hrs after you leave but the onions always seem to be that way and the tomatoes were fresh I mean this entire salad was as fresh as you can get where the lettuce was crunchy. I did not take a picture of the lasagna when it first arrived but it came with two pieces of toast so you could dip it in the sauce later or put the lasagna on it. Pepperoni bacon mushroom and the sauce was not too strong and I could not finish it but once I got back to the camper I ate the rest of it because I could not have it any longer because I was thinking about it...

If anybody is in the area or driving by or through Kemptville I recommend stopping in at this restaurant and grabbing a bike to eat...
