Mr.Sub — Restaurant in North Huron

This is the worst experience I’ve had getting fast food in a long time. We came in and ordered 2 meatless meatball subs. After some confusion, our subs were made by a woman who appeared to be new. She was helped by who I’m assuming is the owner/manager. We were never asked what size sub we wanted and they didn’t have any bread available besides one loaf. So we got one wrap and one sub. The wrap was small but the worker was trying to cram lots of meatballs into it, dropping them on the floor. The manager then told her to charge it as a large as if it was our fault that she put too many meatballs in. No offer was made to toast either sandwich and I ended up finding a huge tomato stem in my sub. The whole ordeal took 20 mins and we spent 25 dollars on subs that we didn’t like or even want in the first place. Don’t waste your time...

I wasn't impressed. The girl wasn't very friendly. They had a tiny bit of lettuce left and she said that they had no more. The other girl that was standing there walked away to the back. The girl made the 2 ham subs, one with a few shreds of lettuce and the other with none. She wrapped them up, I paid and then the other girl came back with a bag of lettuce. They didn't offer to add lettuce to my subs, they just left my subs sitting there for me to take and walked away. I wasn't impressed as I drove out of my way for Mr. Sub as a treat because I don't like Subway. This Mr. Sub was disappointing, especially after driving 35 minutes...

When I asked employee sandwich maker slash cash attendant to clean area where subs being prepared and wash his hands as well as clean the knife to cut subs. He was annoyed. All he did with knife was wipe with paper towels. I asked him to rinse in the sink with water to properly clean. He did not want to. I left . Unsafe food handling practices at this location.was back into store and employee does not work their anymore. We talked about issue and they were happy to wash knife and hands . Thank you for safe...
