A Sushi Lover's Paradise! âââââ
I recently dined at KingKi, and I can confidently say it was one of the best sushi experiences I've ever had. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a perfect balance of modern elegance and traditional Japanese decor.
The Food: Every bite was a masterpiece. The fish was incredibly fresh and practically melted in my mouth. I highly recommend trying their Omakase if you're feeling adventurousâit was a culinary journey Iâll never forget. The chef's selection was thoughtful and creative, with a mix of classic nigiri and unique flavor combinations I hadnât tried before. Their signature roll (the [Insert Roll Name]) was a standout, with just the right blend of textures and flavors.
The Service: The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, happy to explain the menu and offer recommendations based on my preferences. My server even suggested a sake pairing that elevated the entire meal.
The Presentation: Every plate was beautifully arranged, almost too stunning to eat (but, of course, I did!). Itâs clear that the chefs put care and attention into not only the flavors but also the visual appeal of their dishes.
Final Thoughts: Whether you're a sushi enthusiast or new to Japanese cuisine, KingKi is a must-visit. It's the perfect spot for a date night, a celebration, or simply treating yourself to something special. I'll definitely be returning soon!

Read moreOK, I saw this place on Google maps with a decent rating and some great reviews! When we first arrived at the restaurant there was absolutely nobody, we were sat at a table and weâre wondering what we had got ourselves into, once our server was done dealing with Some takeout orders she promptly came over to our table and from then on this was an absolutely delicious dining experience! Our server and the Chef weâre very friendly and even though it didnât look like there would be much option with regards to beverages they had everything we ordered including ice cold beer And hot sake. We absolutely ordered way more than we shouldâve but we were excited and hungry! The sushi, sashimi and Maki were all excellent, generous portion sizes and properly prepared with regards to the cut of the fish and flavour of the rice. The atmosphere left a little bit to be desired but when youâre eating such delicious food that all seems to go away! If you are going through Listowel and looking for a delicious meal, this should definitely be one of the top of your list!
Thanks...
Read moreI had given this place a 5 star a few years ago but now am lowering to a 3. The food use to be consistently fresh but for the last year or so it's hit and miss on the freshness of their rice and noodle dishes (chicken balls always seem fresh!) . Also the dinner for 2, was recently raised by $6, from $26 to $32 (plus a 2$ extra fee cause we ask to substitute one of the dishes from chow mein to lo mein) . I understand that supply prices may have gone up and times are hard for restaurants. But when the price goes way up like that (I think excessively for the amount of food) and the consistency goes down, I'm sorry I won't be coming back as...
