All Hours Pizza & Donair — Restaurant in Northern Mature Area

TL;DR - do NOT order from here!!! You are way better off with corner store food or anything else but this... serious waste of money time and your health. This place is despicable not edible.

I have ordered from this place 3 times. Each time my order has taken at least 1 hour and 15 minutes just to get it. The first two times were just ok. That's with knowing they take forever to deliver, they have the cheapest ingredients possible, they're not friendly, the only thing to legitimately order are the donair along with only ordering because they are open all hours. This 3rd time has made me ill within 15 min of eating it. I tried a donair with cheese, and an order of zucchini sticks. This is what I always get and this is all I will order for myself. My roommate ordered a donair and an order of onions rings. We ordered no veggie on the donair because they don't have good produce and when it takes over an hour it gets soggy. To start the zucchini sticks were in a container half the size it normally comes in, ok little disappointing but it's fine. I put them out on a plate and they stayed in the exact shape all held together by fryer oil. I love my zucchini sticks and I tried to break them apart just to find it was all burnt and overcooked. Ugh. On to the onion rings; took a bite and nothing inside! These were so cheap there was literally a string or two the size of a few hair strands of onion anywhere. The donairs; the pita seemed fine although I had 3 bites and my roommate was able to get about the same. The meat was hard, it was so dry it literally would break and crumble. The sauce was how it usually is. The cheese was not melted and was not the usual white slices they put on the pita but rather pizza cheese. It was not good quality and was like awful rubber. I've never had their pizzas and I'll never ever try them as I will never order from here again. For the 2 donairs with cheese, onion rings, zucchini sticks and 2 extra sauces it was a total waste of $50 it cost. I should have read into the reviews on this place. Like I said there's no way I will order again even if it's 3am and I can't get anything else. I'd rather walk thru a drive thru at McDonald's and I don't think I would do that. Ever. Wow .. so glad I read the reviews! Was about to order and saved myself from what most customers are saying here: RUDENESS -WATERY PASTA-UNCOOKED PIZZA-BUTCHERED UP DONAIR MEAT-LACK OF OR NO TOPPINGS ON DONAIR- OLD SOUR DONAIR SAUCE-LATE DELIVERY.. more importantly how someone got sick from rancid donair meat! Thanks everyone for your reviews! Owners and staff need to realize that giving great food and service isn’t that hard! Once you do that you will get repeat customers and fantastic reviews! Also sounds like owner or staff have attitude problems as well when people are calling to discuss what’s wrong with order then get hung up on.. WOW NOT GOOD for you owner! We all work hard for our money and so should the staff and owner! Don’t push people’s inquires about the unprofessionalism and sloppy work done on pizzas or donairs under your mat! Stop making excuses too about 2 for 1 pizza! Obviously a training course for both management and staff needs to take place ASAP!

UPDATE: my response back to owner’s response !! There you go Mr Owner or staff member or both! See your attitude!? Exactly what was discussed in some reviews! Calling me a meme name Karen in response to me just emphasized your attitude that reviewers are pointing at in their reviews!! So the reviewers were right posting about a real attitude problem in your establishment! Tsk tsk! Saved myself some unnecessary anguish and $$ by not going didn’t I? YUP! ! You fell into that one pretty quick! You proved the other reviewers RIGHT! As for my other reviews.. they are my honest experience so as to forewarn others but they can still choose and try the establishment if desired ! I don’t like wasting my hard earned money , do you? Someone I know that ate a bite or two left a review about your establishment and he’s right! Reviews are a warning not just for praise! You obviously also don’t know how to spell saying Karen as my name isn’t spelled that way! I am surprised it took me so long to review this icon of my neighborhood. I have lived a block away from All Hours for 18 years and have been a enjoying their food the entire time. I first got to know the owner/operator Bob all those years ago and he was always friendly. I brought roommates to meet him and get his approval, he was a excellent judge of character. The pizzas he made were incredible the homemade donair sauce one of the best I have ever had. Tragically we lost Bob to a violent crime and I felt the loss of him as a friend not just a customer. I did not go back for almost a year as I mourned in my own way. I finally went back and met the man I would soon call Uncle, this man was Bobs brother and had taken up the captains hat for this ship. He was a true master of pizza he might have even been better then Bob. Uncle got to know my voice on the phone so well as soon as he heard it he told me my regular order as soon as I said order for pick up. My combo of choice Large pizza (Donair sauce, Donair Meat, Chicken, Ground Beef ) and Wings (Honey Garlic with extra honey garlic sauce) I like dipping the crust in the left over honey garlic sauce. Tragedy fell upon all hours again and we lost Uncle to health issues. Again I took some time away to morn the loss of a man I considered a friend. After a while I came back and discovered that Bobs son was now running All Hours. The first order I placed did not quite match the quality I had known from Bob and Uncle but they were just starting and over the years they have found their own rhythm. The last few orders have truly been comparable to the culinary masterpieces produced by the legends that were Bob and Uncle, peace be upon them. This pizza place is more then just food it is a gem stone in the crown of this community and a symbol of what can be accomplished when family comes together to continue a dream.
