The male server with short brown hair and painted nails (green apron) who originally sat us and brought the bill was the only server who actually accommodates and is so so sweet. He was the one who also came to us and apologized for lack of window seating instead of the two frontal servers that both said yes one second and left.

Besides him, it’s not very welcoming if not quebecois. Seated far from windows (we only speak english but all speak signs and most employees are bilingual) and when asked to move closer to window after 4 tables opens next to them - we were told no since there were reservations (we also had made one). When I said we also made one they were like oh one second - then continued to seat everyone at the windows and then the super nice server from before come to apologize since they have many people coming in today (we also came 5 early to our reservation as well and were okay with waiting). Another english speaking family was seated far from the windows, and did not receive the complimentary bread until the father asked for it… Another couple sat near us not at the windows and they also spoke only english. Despite them saying it will be busy with people, a large table for 6 and a smaller for 3 remained open. It sucks but it wouldn’t matter if the food was good.

The burger was incredible dry and burnt and the lamb pretty bland and dry but actually tender. The baked potatoes were good and the fries were burnt/overcooked. Since it was my boyfriends and I 5 year anniversary, we wanted to go somewhere unique and not somewhere we would normally go to - but instead got awful quality food (excluding the tartare that was good) and near to no service. A server asked how our bread and tartare was, then zilch after. Since we prepaid for a breakfast the next morning, we went and it was actually really good! Not burnt or dry and the servers were also really sweet too.

tldr: speak french and avoid...

Omega Bon is a small restaurant/store located right next to the Omega Parc in Montebello, Quebec. Inside there is a convenient washroom located near the entrance. There are also souvenirs and snacks for the road which is quite generous of the people to offer. Taking a right turn from the entrance is where you will find the restaurant side of the store. In there, there is a small room separated from the rest of the store, and it is dedicated specifically to dining.

What was quite pleasantly surprising is that large windows revealed the lovely view of the widely expansive view you have of the park. Even while dining, it is possible to bring satisfaction to the eyes and stare outside the window to enjoy all the beautiful attractive details of the park. Details such as the large bright blue lake, or the leaves of the trees flying alongside the wind, or even the potential animals being able to be spotted from a distance, this restaurant is placed perfectly along the perimeter of the park.

A quick note to acknowledge is that although reservations are welcomed, they are not required for entry!

As for the menu, they have a variety of menu items to choose from ranging from the classic Canadian favorite: poutine, to their own Omega Burgers, to the iconic Caesar salad with the option to be served alongside fresh crispy chicken, or fish and chips, the variety is quite the attractive one to enjoy from.

Another feature that sets this restaurant apart from the rest is their kids menu. Coming at only 14 Canadian, or 10 USD, this menu is definitely worth your loonies and toonies. A value pack that you receive is 1 main course, 1 drink, and 1 dessert option for the kids menu. This menu enfant is quite the fulfilling one as well. Kids get to dine at an experience they...

The decor of the restaurant is very nice. We came here during the Christmas holidays so you can expect a very well decorated interior and warm atmosphere. That's pretty much all this restaurant has to offer! The food was mediocre to say the least. The service was not available. We had to leave our table numerous times and go to the counter to have someone take our orders. The waiter gave us plates we didn't order. For the food we did order, everything was wrong. None of our special requests were fulfilled (like plain burgers without any lettuce, tomatoes). They had items on the menu that were not available for 5+ days ..! Even the coffee was watered down. Not to mention that a burger goes for 38$!!!! Which by the way was served almost blue to our 5 kids, we had to take them back into the kitchen (ourselves) so they can cook them some more. Needless to say we will not be returning. If you happen to be sleeping at the Omega lodge (which is gorgeous) find a restaurant outside the premises and do not come to this one! It will be...

The Omega Bon at Wolf Park is where fine dining meets the wild side, and honestly, we’re howling about it! We feasted on chicken, filet mignon, and truffle fries, and let me tell you—this wasn’t just dinner; it was a culinary adventure. The chicken was so juicy it could have its own fan club, the filet mignon was so tender it practically cut itself, and the truffle fries? Crispy, golden perfection with just the right amount of truffle flair to make you feel fancy. The setting? Think five-star dining with a side of nature’s grandeur. The wolves may have been the stars of the park, but the real alpha that night was the food. The service was sharp, friendly, and never intrusive—clearly a well-trained pack. Do yourself a favor and sink your teeth into this experience. We’ll definitely be back for another round!
