barBURRITO — Restaurant in Oakville

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING HERE.

I wish I was kidding while writing this review, however 90% of the time we have tried to get burritos here they are closed. Their hours on their sign and online say it is open until 9:00pm but the door will be locked and closed, lights off at 8:20pm… This has happened more than once. The one time we went and they were actually open I asked the staff about this. The woman told me it’s because they will close early if it’s a “slow day” so I asked what that means and if it’s every day as it happens often. She told me I need to call them to see if they are open. The thing is, I have called ahead multiple times as I was worried they would be closed almost an hour earlier than their hours say, but the phone has never been answered. So let me get this straight…the staff is telling me I have to call every time an hour in advance to see if they decided to stay open that day until their normal business hours? Absolutely absurd. I am honesty appalled at the operation of this location.

Today we went to get burritos for dinner at 6:15pm. Their hours are until 9:00pm… It is a Monday (and not a Holiday Monday). They WERE CLOSED!!!!!!!!!! LIGHTS OFF, DOOR LOCKED. NO SIGN OR EXPLANATION. This is ridiculous. We saw someone in the back so called and surprise! The phone was answered! Have absolutely no idea what they said though, something about someone not being in or an event or something?

This was the closest barBURRITO near us and they have gluten free tortillas which is why we would go there as I have a gluten allergy and it’s nice to get an actual burrito and not just a bowl.

A new barBURRITO just opened at Prince Michael Drive in Oakville. We will be giving them our business instead as they actually seem to follow their business hours.

Don’t waste your time trying this location, odds are they...

Absolutely HORRIBLE. Ordered the chicken quesadilla through door dash today. The quesadilla was only chicken and cheese. It looked nothing like the photo. No red and green peppers in the quesadilla. Cheese toppings, sour cream and salsa all MISSING. The only thing they got right was the fries. That cost me almost $5 for that small container. I get more fries from McDonalds for $4. Spent almost $30 via door dash. Completely pathetic.

If you guys think you can get away with cheaping out on food delivery because there is no accountability, you're wrong. Your head office will contact you about this. Your restaurant needs to focus on customer service. You don't want to rip off your customers because there is such a thing as reviews, ratings and reputation. Do not order from this BarBurrito in Oakville. In fact, if you order from DoorDash you can't control which location so just stay away from this restaurant...

We have been coming to this location very often the past few months, however recently we have had a bad experience with the same lady working there. We usually come around 6-7 and are told that crunchy chicken is sold out. The last 4 times it has been sold which does not seem true because we came before with other employees and it has always been available. Sadly, the worker seems to just be lazy. She has her airpods in when talking to us, she was doing two burrito bowls at a time when my partner and I wanted different toppings and I had to speak up. We never mentioned we wanted the same things. And to top it off we were not able to get rewards with the app and it seemed like the employee didnt know what the rewards app even was. It was an extremely disappointing last few visits. Most likely will not come back to this...
