Here we go again Oakville, another GEM in the form of a Lebanese restaurant cafe. Wow am I glad my neighbour treated me to a sandwich in this totally open concept kitchen restaurant. The first thing that jumped out at me when I stepped into this place was how immaculate everything was. The food is incredibly fresh and everything is made on site including the kaake bread. This bread is hugely popular in Beirut the capital of Lebanon. Also known as handbag bread because of the similarities of looking like a handbag. The owners Elias and Rosy with their 2 children are running this GEM of a restaurant. This place gets quite busy and I was lucky enough to have a chat with the owners because it wasn't too busy just before closing on a Monday evening. What a pleasant family. There is a bar table that runs along the length of the windows and have these pop up outlets where you can plug in your laptops or other devices to charge and use while you enjoy your order. I am absolutely sure to return to try out all the different foods and desserts they offer as well as the coffee bar they have. During the summer they have a great outdoor area where you can enjoy your meals. This family has a passion for food and it certainly shows as soon as you walk in the door. I can't wait to come back for more and I would recommend you to bring the whole family. I wish the owners the very best of success and they are well on the way. Congratulations and thank you for the wonderful experience of freshness and flavour explosions. I look forward to...

BEY ROUTE - Kaake Cafe offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with a modern twist that reflects Lebanese culture. The decor is stylish yet comfortable, making it a great spot for casual dining or a cozy gathering with friends and family.

Menu: The menu is a delightful exploration of Lebanese cuisine, with a variety of options that cater to different tastes. Their kaake, a traditional Lebanese bread, is a standout dish—served fresh and customizable with various fillings ranging from savory to sweet. Additionally, they offer a selection of salads, appetizers, and coffee that perfectly complement the meals.

Service: The staff at BEY ROUTE is friendly and attentive, providing excellent service that enhances the dining experience. They are knowledgeable about the menu and eager to offer recommendations based on your preferences.

Quality: The quality of the food is impressive, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors that transport you straight to the heart of the Lebanon. The kaake is not only delicious but also beautifully presented.

Value: Prices are reasonable given the quality and portion sizes. Whether you're there for a quick snack or a full meal, you’ll find that the value is commendable.

Overall Impression: BEY ROUTE - Kaake Cafe is a must-visit for those in Oakville looking to explore authentic Lebanese flavors in a welcoming setting. It’s perfect for a breakfast, casual lunch, a coffee break, or a nice dinner out. Highly recommended for both locals and...

Good sandwich. Tried for the first time, was on my list of restore try. It’s pricey, be prepared to spend $20 for one sandwich.

Aside from the bread itself, the rest of the sandwich was something you could make at home easily. No special ingredients per se.

A healthy option for sure if you’re in the area and don’t want to eat fast food.

I was perplexed with the menu a bit, because I’m vegetarian so I asked the cashier for help. She was reluctantly suggesting my one and only option. Didn’t seem to be eager to help me out with suggestions.

Took 20 minutes to get my sandwich. No one else was there, I was the only in-store customer. Not sure why it takes so long.

If you’re in a rush, be prepared to wait a while. It’s also in an awkward location, in my opinion, not easily accessible unless you happen to living in the building above.

The price needs to come down or the portions need to be bigger. I tried it, probably wouldn’t go back unless I was in a bind.

Overall, good fresh...

We went on a busy day (Eid). It's a small family owned business, and they were unable to meet the pace of requirement. The food was fresh. We ordered 4 beef brisket Kaake, 2 chicken shwarma, and 1 Hallumi one. Beef and chicken tasted good. Halloumi one was quite bland. We ordered hot chocolates and mango smoothies. Hot chocolate tasted good per serving was too small for price. Capachino were good. Orange juice was overpriced. Lentil soup was fresh but I think i have tried some better lentil soups earleir. Pistachios dessert was good, and 2 piece of baklawa they gave complimentary because we waited almost 1h for our order, although we were told 15min waiting. The sitting was limited, so we needed to sit in the patio for waiting, which was a bit cold to sit. Staff was curteous and was apologizing for the delay and broken services.

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars on everything! It wasn’t around lunch hour but I needed to get something lunchy to carry with me on the train. I ordered the Kebob kaake, fully expecting to hear “no, that’s lunch menu meal”, but instead I heard an accommodating response, saying “yes, we can make it for you but it’ll take 10min”. I knew they were making an exception and being extremely kind and I really appreciate that level of customer service. I could have very well ordered anything else from their mouthwatering menu… but I will come back to try the rest. The restaurant is beautiful, open concept, calm atmosphere and bright. They also have a patio. Lots of free parking and 4 min from the train station. Will definitely come back here.
