My, My, What can I say about this PC Shop. Five Star plus, for sure. Dave the owner has been there for soo many years. I passed by this place soo many times but needed help with an old lap top and decided to pop in. Listen Dave is owner operator, receptionist, and repair man. Master repair man at a very good price. My laptop was not working a few years ago, went to, two places and could not wait weeks to fix. I was forced with no choice because of time to fix and huge cost so I bought a new computer and transferred the data in stead, it was the quicker option. A few years later I needed to access some old documents that did not transfer with old computer and some old emails for work. Went to Dave at PC Computers for first time and he told me it was a broken screen. That's it. $30 bucks later and in two days he called and said it was ready. I was given a choice, he could install a used screen and would be able to use my laptop and all the data that was there. He upgraded to windows ten and I was able to retrieve all my data. Nice, Nice man and very good to talk too. Did I say he has been there for ever. Don't care about the bad reviews, this guy is the real deal. Wish I had gone here sooner instead of across the street beside Shoppers. I went back twice in one week with two different matters and I was treated the same. Dave is a simple honest, very knowledgeable guy. And should be charging more then what he charges. Very upset at myself for not coming here sooner the last few years I needed help with my laptop. Five star if not more. Can't say enough about this place. He loves a regular coffee as well. Bring him one and see how he lights up. Can't believe how much he was able to do for me at such a small price. that's it. I found my laptop repair shop for ever and ever. Hope he never moves. Thanks so much again. Latest review October 2024 Same computer; relatively old Windows PC would not boot. Took it to Dave who diagnosed it in 1 minute flat - hard drive failure. I had a lot of data on this drive. A new SSD drive and labour to install, just over $200 to fix. I thought I would be spending the next week (or month) re-installing software to get it up and running. All the work to install Windows, Google, Mail etc. (important stuff) was completed when I picked up the PC the next day and all of my data also. Just had to re-install some apps unique to me and voila!! good as new. Thanks Dave, fantastic job, will use again and recommend to everybody.

1st Review Can't say enough about this store. I was looking for a CPU fan for my PC and tried the 'well advertised' store across the road (Kerr Street). They sold me (since returned) a CPU fan for $20 that looked used and the AMPS did not match the fan I had taken with me (0.12A vs. 0.40A). Also tried the PC repair store on N. Service road (they could get me a fan the following day for $30). I called PC Shop Computers and they had a fan and heat sink in stock. I arrived and discovered the the fan/heat sink was basically for an up-scale machine and would require me to remove the motherboard to install. The owner suggested I could try another fan/heat sink he had in the "back shop" from another PC which he sold me for $5 which I installed - no problems. I will use this store in the future as the service is fantastic and they will not try to sell you parts you...

I would rate this shop 6 out of 5 but there is no star for that. Very knowledgeable, fast, honest, and a life saver for me. My main laptop was damaged and he got me up and running better than before. My main concern was not cost, but in the end, the fee was very low for what he did. Absolutely no hesitation to recommend this shop for computer repairs or purchase. Again, it's a 6 out of 5 rating here. Awesome.

UPDATE: I required the services in an emergency again (Must be a couple of years down the road since the last review and a different issue on a different PC hit me). I immediately went here to PC Shop Computers

Again I was greatly impressed with the knowledge, ability, speed, and price. He's been a life saver on a couple of occasions. Incredible value. And knowing that I can trust him is priceless. There was even an occasion where I was not charged a fee (even though I insisted) because he felt did t do enough (he had, in fact, given me excellent investigation and consultation services about my situation).

Consider my rating as 6 out of 5.

Note that almost everyone rates him as 5/5 if you scroll through.... This shop deserves it.
