I visited A&W for lunch and ordered the Teen Combo, which consists of a Teen Burger, fries, and a soft drink. The Teen Burger was delicious and satisfying. The beef patty was juicy and tender, and the cheese was melted and gooey. The bacon added a nice crunch and smokiness, while the vegetables provided freshness and contrast. The Teen sauce was creamy and tangy, complementing the other ingredients well. The bun was soft and fluffy, with a slight crispiness on the edges. I have recently rediscovered A&W. It's been roughly 15 years since I used their restaurant. I am very impressed with the flavors and quality of the items I have ordered!! The most impressive note I would say in comparison to others is that they have seemed to master and perfect and solve the paper straw problem I didn't know I even had besides the fact of course that I was drinking from a paper straw in general which I dislike very much run on sentence!!;;)) A small diameter paper straw is enjoyable to drink through, as opposed to the usual large bore diameter that seems strange to me. Also they gave me a thin straw for my root beer and lo and behold a thick straw for my milkshake which is again so perfect given its viscosity differences!! I have to write a review right away. Hopefully it will help the restaurant improve so that the next customer doesn’t have to experience this although I can see the previous review before me had the same experience which is really unfortunate. I was looking forward to eating something since I work nights, and I decided to order lettuce wrap. It was smothered in way too much mayo. It was just outright disgusting. I was so hungry I had to wipe as much mayo off as possible to try to eat the meat. The lettuce was extremely soggy from all that mayo so I couldn’t have my vegetables, and make this a healthy meal for myself. Please don’t do that again for the next customer who orders a lettuce wrap. The only good thing here is the service...
