Greetings, my fellow food enthusiasts! I recently revisited Armando's and let me tell you, it was an experience worth writing home about. This was actually my second visit, and I'm already planning my third, so you know it's good. During my first visit, I had The Galtai and it was delicious, a must for all cheese lovers. But this time, I decided to venture out and try the Veg Out. And oh boy, was it worth it! The crust was perfectly crispy, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. As a vegetarian, I felt like royalty feasting on a garden of vegetables. Now, I have to admit, there were a few hiccups during this visit. My friend and I initially went to the wrong location, but the staff there were so kind and helpful in redirecting us to Armando's. And let me tell you, it was worth the wait. The only thing that could have made the experience better would have been if the doors were locked until they were open for service. We arrived before their 4 pm opening time and ended up waiting for a bit with no one around. We ended up awkwardly standing around and walking the plaza, looking like pizza stalkers. But it wasn't a big deal, and we eventually made it inside. Let's talk about drinks for a moment. The fountain pop was decent, but let's be real, nothing beats the sound of cracking open a cold can of pop. It's like music to my ears. Plus, there's just something about the feeling of sipping from a can that makes it taste better. Maybe it's the aluminum or the way it hits the back of your throat, but it's just better. Note that canned pop doesn't come with free refills, but fountain pop does, just in case you were wondering. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is lively, and the pizza is top-notch. And who knows, maybe you'll even forget about your dietary restrictions like I did. Just remember to check the website and address before you go for the ultimate pizza experience. Overall, I highly recommend Armando's for any pizza lover out there, whether you're a carnivore or herbivore. Their Detroit-style pizza is out of this world, and it's definitely worth a visit. Just make sure to check their hours before you go, and don't forget to try the Veg Out - it's a vegetable lover's dream!

Now called Armando's Pizza Bar. Pizza was very good. Five different styles of pizza to choose from. We got the Detroit deep dish but you could have gotten others like a thinner crust Napolitano style or classic Windsor pizza among others. One thing for sure is they are very creative. You can get classic pizzas to something you would have never dreamed of. Plenty of local beers are on offer.

Ordered as takeout during Covid so can't speak to restaurant experience. Pizza wise this was a good introduction to Windsor style pizza's. The staff for take out were pleasant. Ordered the Roni lovers. Found it a smidge saltier than I prefer but that's expected due the amount of preserved meats. As I like a slightly more saucier pizza, I might consider ordering with extra sauce next time.

Terrible experience with delivery. Recommend to pick up if you order. I placed an order at 6:30 and was told it would be delivered within 90m which is ok we have to be mindful it’s COVID time. 2 hours later and no one showed up or even called. I called the store at 8:30 and was told someone tried to reach me (although I had 0 missed calls) and they didn’t have part of my order in stock. We figured out an alternative put it in again and they said they would rush it out. Another hour goes by it’s now 9:30 and they close at 10. At this point I call back to cancel my order because it’s been 3 hours and I’ll admit was getting pretty hangry but instead of apologizing I’m just told it’s already out for delivery and that was it. I did get my order probably around 9:40 but that’s not all folks to top it off the delivery driver got into some spat with my next door neighbour and said the man swore and yelled at him. I was not outside so I don’t know what happened but my neighbours are an elderly couple, I’ve never heard the man say anything mean in his life. I was pretty upset by this whole experience and definitely not the professional service you would expect from Armando’s. And the worst part was after all that I went to take a bite of my tiramisu and it was still frozen :/ So all in all would not order again especially right now during COVID. But all negative service stuff aside, the food itself was excellent thank you to the kitchen staff who took the time to make it. August 31, 2020: I wanted to update my post as I did ask my neighbour what happened and she said another neighbour from across the street exchanged words with the delivery driver. They were concerned a strange man was coming onto my property after dark. Its a very close knit neighbourhood and people watch out for that sort of thing as we've had vandals/break-in before. Regardless I would like to apologize to the delivery driver on my neighbours behalf. UPDATE - Sept. 6, 2020: I changed my review to 3 stars. The manager contacted me by phone yesterday to discuss my experience. He acknowledged they had my number wrong in the system and as that was my first time ordering from them he gave me a $20 credit towards my next order. That was very nice and I appreciated that someone contacted me directly (and on a long weekend) to rectify...

We were in town for the weekend and we wanted to try a local restaurant instead of a national chain. We had no prior knowledge of this restaurant before deciding to stop in and give them a try.

Firstly the building is well maintained and renovated to have a nice modern look. Facility is top notch with very clean restrooms, a nice seating area and a beautiful fireplace with a pool table. The centerpiece is the amazing pizza oven feature viewable from the seating area. Ambient music was played at a comfortable volume. It's irritating when it is overpowering and you have to yell over top of it and that was not a problem here.

Staff was very courteous and helpful and our server Lukas was superb. Menu options were plentiful with many unique selections. We started with a few appetizers and chose the garlic knots, spinach and artichoke dip which came with fresh light and crispy tortilla chips and 2 lb of boneless wings. They were all equally delicious and cooked to perfection.

For our main course we chose a Detriot Pan Pizza called the Roni Ruvver and a Woodfired option called The Godfather. Both of these pizzas were unbelievable. Well-balanced flavors and proportions. No single element of the pizza overwhelmed any other part of it. The ratio of dough to sauce to toppings was perfect. Simply put these were both hands down, the best pizzas I have ever had in my 42 years of being alive on this earth.

I can't speak highly enough of this establishment and encourage anybody to go and check them out. I will definitely be back and can't wait for my next trip to Windsor. This will be the highlight of anybody's trip. I would post photos but they are all on my wifes phone. Keep up the great work you guys are...
