This small, quaint, and Mariner themed Pub is an absolute must visit destination!

From the mermaids hanging on the wall to arguably the best fish and chips you can find anywhere in London Ontario this is a place you have to try at least once.

Not to dwell on a subject, but I'm very picky with fish and chips and I truly believe they have the best fish and chips in the city.

They also have a very friendly staff and an outside tented seating are to help to expand the amount of guests they can accommodate. If you haven't visited here before, then you're missing out so make a trip down to this wonderful Pub and Hidden Gem of...

Excellent servers. Wings were great, the wing coating featured for a meat forward flavour while allowing the chosen sauce to compliment the wing rather than hide a mediocre quality. The house beer was a clean crisp pilsner that invited refills. The hallibut fish and chips were a quality choice. My only criticism was the quantity of fish for the price, however the portion of fries was generous. Finally the carrot cake\cheesecake dessert offering was outstanding. The Black Pearl Pub is unsuspecting, but home to outstanding food and service.

My wife and I were immediately greeted by a woman behind the bar along with loyal patrons enjoying a football. It felt reminiscent of a modern day Cheers.

I started off with tasty a caesar salad and followed up with haddock and chips. The fish and hand cut fries were both fantastic and well were returning for again. The carrot caramel cheesecake was also a massive hit and took me by surprise.
