Oh wow. We walked in and the place was packed. No tables available. But Met (the manager) assured us a table would be available in a few minutes. Our conclusion was that if the place was this busy the food must be good so it’s worth the wait for us. We were seated in few minutes. The food was the best breakfast my wife and I have had anywhere and that’s saying something because we have traveled extensively. Our food was served within 5 minutes. Fresh, hot and steaming. The breakfast poutine with fresh grilled veggies, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce rival the best we’ve ever had anywhere on the North American continent. We topped it off with the most amazing waffles and custard with fresh fruit. As Q (the name of our server) told us ahead of time the waffles would be life changing. I can only testify in agreement with her. Amazing. But the best part wasn’t even the food. It was the customer service. By the time we walked out of the restaurant we knew more about the people who run this family-run restaurant then about the people of the restaurants we frequent. It was like we had run into old friends. The warm, inviting and welcoming atmosphere coupled with the easy flowing conversations with Met and Q made us feel like we had known them years. Not only will we be back, we will be regulars. Thank you Q, Met and team. See you soon.

Dropped by this place for breakfast on a Saturday based on the reviews. Got there around 10am and waiting five minutes for a table. It’s a small place with less than 20 tables. The place was packed. I quickly knew the place was good based on the vibe and seeing plates filled with great food. We were seated quickly and coffee was provided. Coffee was great which is always a great sign. The menu is a breakfast and lunch menu. Lots of choice. We had the Triple, Mexican Skillet and Spinach and Swiss cheese eggs Benedict. Food was plentiful, hot and very tasty, served promptly. We thoroughly enjoyed each dish and we couldn’t finish them. We saw French toast and crepe plates being served and it looked great. Talked with the owner whole said they had been open for 18 months. The staff served with smiles and great efficiency. When we left the line up was out the door. This is a great breakfast and lunch place with good food, large portions, and great service in a small diner setting with a great vibe. Check it out. You won’t go wrong.

We stumbled upon this gem while in London for my dad’s procedure, and we’re so glad we did. We drove in from Windsor and ended up coming here for breakfast two days in a row, that’s how much we liked it. The food is excellent, but what really stood out was the genuinely warm and welcoming staff. You can tell they care about their regulars and enjoy what they do. If I lived in London, I’m sure I’d be a regular too. Both days, I had different omelettes, each one fresh, delicious, and generously portioned. The potatoes were perfectly crispy, and our coffee cups were never empty. Special shoutout to Q, who served us both days. She made us feel at home and even asked how my dad was doing, a small gesture that meant a lot. I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting London. A cozy spot with great food and even better people.

Disappointing and Dishonest Experience

I had a very disappointing experience at Morning Bites, and it’s unfortunate because the food is good and service is generally fast. However, there is a serious issue with how they handle billing, and it’s something that can’t be overlooked.

I went to Morning Bites three times. The first time, I noticed I was billed more than the menu prices indicated, but I only realized it after leaving. I brushed it off, thinking it might have been an honest mistake, though it was frustrating that they don’t provide paper receipts, making it impossible to verify the charges.

The second visit, I had the same suspicion that I was charged more than the menu prices, but again, I couldn’t confirm it without a receipt.

By the third visit, I was prepared. I brought a pen and paper to calculate my bill before paying, and sure enough, I was overcharged again. When I confronted the person at the register—a man of Arabic descent—about the discrepancy, he became defensive and rude. He claimed he didn’t need my extra $4, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. When I mentioned the previous overcharges, he refused to provide a receipt, using the excuse that they don’t give receipts to “protect the environment.” To me, this sounded like a convenient way to cover up what seemed like a pattern of overcharging customers. Instead of apologizing or acknowledging a mistake, he was aggressive and tried to make me leave the restaurant.

This is not how you treat customers, especially when there’s a clear issue with billing. If they want to make more money, they should be transparent and raise their menu prices, not charge customers more dishonestly. Unfortunately, due to this experience, I won’t be...

Morning Bites is an absolute gem nestled in our local neighborhood, offering a delightful breakfast experience that never fails to impress. From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted by the warm ambiance and the infectious positivity of our server, Q. Q's genuine happiness and impeccable service set the tone for a fantastic dining experience.

The menu at Morning Bites is a testament to quality and creativity, with a variety of mouthwatering options to choose from. Whether you're craving classic pancakes, hearty omelets, or innovative breakfast dishes there's something for everyone to enjoy. The food is not only delicious but also beautifully presented, adding to the overall dining pleasure.

What truly sets Morning Bites apart, however, is the sense of community and familiarity that permeates the atmosphere. It's evident that this isn't just a place to grab a meal; it's a gathering spot for locals to connect and unwind over great food and conversation. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, you're always made to feel like part of the family.

In summary, Morning Bites is a shining example of what a local breakfast spot should be. With Q's exceptional service, delectable food, and inviting atmosphere, it's no wonder this establishment has become a beloved neighborhood favorite. Whether you're starting your day or simply craving a delicious meal, Morning Bites is the perfect destination for a memorable...
