We really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, it was a massive disappointment. The Haleem was nothing more than a small bowl of boiled daal sprinkled with green chilies—no meat, no richness—far from what one would expect. We also tried the chicken shawarma roll, kebab roll, butter chicken, and sadly, nothing was authentic or flavorful. Everything lacked both taste and substance. Despite the warning signs from previous reviews, we still gave it a fair shot. Instant REGRET! While placing our order, I even gave the owner a heads-up that we had seen the reviews but wanted to experience it ourselves. After our visit, I called to offer direct feedback rather than posting publicly right away. However, their appalling response to genuine customer feedback makes me seriously doubt they’ll be in business for long. Save your money.

I ordered the Tandoori Chicken Tikka kebab today…. It was $13.99. The menu has a picture of a wrap under it…..No wrap. Just 6 pieces of burnt dry chicken, 6 pieces of onion, 4 little pickles and some sauce. First and last time eating there. Bring back Lambeth pizza. UPDATE: So apparently this is a platter according to the restaurants reply….no where does it say platter on the menu. Also for a “platter” what are the other platter items. Are the prices justified for a few onions and pickles? No comment about the burnt chicken from them either. I’ve been to many other Indian food restaurants where the portions are bigger for $14 and they don’t burn your food. Seems they are trying to justify expensive burnt food because of a bad review. Save your money.

One of the best Chicken Biryani I've had in a while! I got to try their Chicken Biryani, veg biryani, chicken shawarma and aloo naan and all of them were amazing! Aloo naan had a really nice spice kick to it that just elevated the taste. Overall, the taste was fabulous and glad I got to meet the owner and the chef (his mother). The food tasted like home food. Easty bites will give other Indian restaurants around Lambeth a run for the money. Very spacious seating inside. The price and quantity are perfect too. Eager to try Chana bhatura, halwa puri and tandoori chicken next. Glad they are adding more vegetarian options to the menu soon.
