Pizza Hut Ridgetown — Restaurant in Ontario

Sat Oct 15 @ 3:21pm rolling thru lovely Ridgetown on my way to Blenheim. Saw the ☆new☆Pizza Hut finally open where Chinese Food Restaurant used to be. Stop in. Nobody in the parking lot perfect. Hope to get a small 9" pie to go.

Buddy pizza maker "staff" in civie* clothes ignores me for 7min as I stand there @ counter staring up @ menuboard. I say "hello" twice. Nothing said in return. Fine. Buddy's busy making pies & babysitting ovens. I interrupt him with my 3rd audible greeting. I ask a question about the 9inch pie & incl toppings. Buddy mumbles something in his language and I barely understand him. He yells something to the back of kitchen. No clue what he's yelling. After 2 minutes of Buddy staring at me saying nothing,...I witness him slam some pizza utensils down at a pizza retrieval oven-board by ovens. He runs to back and chases two co~workers to front counter while berating the 2 p.h. uniformed colleagues in another language other than spoken / understood English.

Shameful display of derelict of duty & blatant abhorrent entitlement of buddy~pizza maker who i surmise is the shift "manager' or owner(?)...

I stood there stunned, looked around the dining room area & saw the S/E corner of dining area stacked with disheveled cardboard & debris. Brand New Stainless Steel Ovens @ Counter haven't been wiped clean in last 30days.

Politely stood at counter and decided to hop back in Truck and leave the place what it deserves. Some Truth. Brutal.

No where near Blenheim's calibre of friendly atmosphere, cleanliness & professional customer service decorum.

Very hard to understand over the phone, not very informative of the deals. Doesn’t matter how expensive your order is .. if you want delivery you pay $5 plus tax and the delivery guy was really rude. Then the kick in the face for choosing Pizza Hut .. they want you to pay $1.50 to use the bank card machine to pay them for the food! The food … we were very disappointed. I ordered the beyond creamy Alfredo. The man on the phone called it the family pasta, and cheese on the breadsticks. The family meal meant 2 small tin containers that weren’t full of pasta that had hardly enough sauce. Well the pasta came and it was barely room temperature. It was overloaded with red onions , to the point we stopped eating to try and remove them. It was overwhelming the meal. The sausage was hard pieces of spicy meat and hardly any sauce to cover the pasta noodles. Doesn’t beyond creamy mean lots of sauce or the noodles should be in creamy sauce?? Well ours wasn’t at all. It was dry. Not bare but just enough to make the meal wet. No leftover in the bottom of the small tin container to mix the noodles around. The ONLY good part of the whole meal… was the cheesy breadsticks I paid a $1 for the cheese. They came warm and good, greasy but good.. all & all I wouldn’t order the same thing again. We googled pizza hut RIDGETOWN, looked at there menu. We place our order online and get confirmation we can pick up our pizza's up at 6:43 pm. I hope in shower husband gets ready to go pick up our pizza's, I'm waiting he comes home just pissed, he shows me the pizza's yes the pictures are included ,OMG what happened? Wow they look nothing like the pictures in their menu,and they sure don't look the ones I have gotten from pizza hut in RIDGETOWN before. What happened to your pizza dough? In my pj's put my coat and crocks on to take back these burnt pizza's.

Spoke with woman at cashier who just looked at me like nothing is wrong with them, she called over another CO worker who after a few words said she would remake our pizza's, by 7:30 we had our pizza's. Were so disappointed, we want so much to support our community businesses, but were not sure with how our stomachs are feeling if we would try pizza hut in RIDGETOWN again. Please beware look at your pizzas before you get all the way back home to realize their burnt. Pizza hut is famous for their pizza...
