Quick Sushi truly impressed me with its top-notch sushi and commitment to quality, providing a delicious experience that went above and beyond in terms of flavor. I ordered four rolls—the Volcano Roll, Philadelphia Roll, Samurai Roll, and Tiger Roll—and each one showcased the restaurant’s attention to detail and use of fresh, premium ingredients. The Volcano Roll was packed with a satisfying, spicy kick that added a bold flair, perfectly balancing heat with fresh, savory flavors. The Philadelphia Roll was creamy and smooth, with fresh salmon and avocado that made it a delight to eat, delivering that classic, comforting taste we expect in a Philly roll but with a noticeably elevated freshness.
The Samurai Roll was a pleasant surprise; the unique combination of ingredients and textures made it stand out, offering a crispy element that provided a fantastic contrast to the soft, fresh fillings. The Tiger Roll was equally impressive, featuring shrimp that was both tender and flavorful, complemented by a slight crunch that added a wonderful complexity to each bite. Each roll was not only tasty but also beautifully presented, reflecting the effort and skill that went into its preparation. The aesthetic and meticulous presentation made the meal feel even more special.
However, despite the incredible quality of the sushi, the service was slower than I expected. I waited almost 40 minutes for my order, which was a bit disappointing, especially considering the restaurant’s reputation for quality. While the wait was longer than ideal, the food itself made up for it, and I left satisfied with the flavors and freshness. If Quick Sushi could improve its service speed, the dining experience would be perfect, as the quality and flavor of the sushi are already exceptional. For anyone seeking an outstanding sushi experience, Quick Sushi is well worth a visit, and I’m hopeful that with quicker service, this place could easily become my top sushi spot. Highly recommended for sushi lovers who value flavor, quality, and artistry...
Read moreI heard a lot of talks of the Sushi here being high quality, and one of the best in Windsor.
Gave it a shot. Without reservation, we were a party of five and we were seated at the bar as the only three tables in the restaurant were either taken or reserved. Once we sat, the gentleman had brought five waters. For some odd reason two out of the five waters were cold and crisp. And the other three waters were room temperature, strange , but definitely something I noticed.
I ordered the Tiger roll and the grilled salmon roll As well as two pieces of salmon nigiri, and red tuna nigiri.
The grilled salmon roll was beautifully present, fresh flavourful ingredients, salmon was torched perfectly. My problem with that role is that the tempura shrimp was overcooked. It was so crunchy that it was the most prominent texture I can taste throughout the hole roll. I mean, you can tell it was more dark than I usually see shrimp tempura. Just threw me off. Had the shrimp not been overcooked it would have been a perfect role.
The Tiger roll was decent. Nothing to rave about..
The Salmon Nigiri was pretty good as well, did not have a fishy flavour or anything of that nature. Little bit on the hefty side being $7.50 for two pieces however they were relatively big.
The tuna Nigiri was just a disappointment, as you can see in the photos and videos they seem to be a little old and not the freshest. The fish was disintegrating into fibrous strands, ( not how it should be if fresh) It was not pleasant. You can tell it’s not top quality or as fresh as it can be. Was disappointed with those.
All in all with tax my bill came up to $52. Don’t get me wrong, the portions are enormous as those items had more than filled me up. However, the small details with the water and the tuna and the overly cooked shrimp tempura could not go without being stated.
Overall 3.7/5 would...
Read moreVery disappointed. The rolls are not what the pictures look to be at all. Extremely deceiving. Actual sushi is half the size in real life. More the issue was the “spicy salmon” roll had no spicy sauce on it at all! Nor does it look like the photo. “Philadelphia roll” also does not look like the photo. “Cooked shrimp roll “ was not cooked shrimp more like raw shrimp. “Dynamite roll” 1000000% does not look like the picture either and only had shrimp tempura nothing else’s no cucumber like the picture displays. For the worst part about this meal, the “volcano roll” was $14.50 And supposed to have “cooked salmon” for sure not cooked salmon, It was cold raw tuna and not good tuna really bad stinky not taste good at all tuna! I was extremely excited about the “crazy boy roll” looks amazing in the picture but super small and not much at all to it. Very dissatisfied. Lady on phone was not friendly and said “ sorry “ that’s all she said. “Sorry” If I was in restaurant I would return to the food and walk out. Unless food actually looked somewhat close to the pictures or even had the correct ingredients. Also service would had to be way nicer and more caring. First and last time going here. Check the photos they speak...
