This gets three stars because I have always been a Starbucks consumer and always will. Although one situation I just had was unacceptable. Starbucks strives providing great customer service and offering a change in drink if it’s not up to your standards.. apparently not for this Starbucks for the most part. I went to the Starbucks near Wendy’s on Parkedale, they messed up the drink two times and I didn’t want to go back to be a hassle (they were extremely kind and empathetic) so I went to the one near Micheals on Parkedale down the road. I mentioned to what happened at the other one and they fixed it quickly; no worries. I was pleased. Although they messed that drink up too (I have ordered the drink the same way ever since I can remember and they usually never mess it up) I went back again to say it wasn’t right and I was approached by the same server at the drive through who began to yell at me telling me I didn’t know how to order the drink and explained how to order it, even though I know how to order it and have for the past year... I kept my cool. So the drink was messed up once again so I drove around to say screw it and get a different drink. She then CHARGED me for the different drink I ordered obviously know it was me before hand and started to giggle about the fact that I came back again for a different drink. I think just looked at her as she closed the window and began to laugh harder with everyone else. The server that I had was a taller women, bigger build, short grey hair and glasses. I’ve had her before and she is usually a kind woman, I don’t know if I caught her on a bad day.. but all in all I was not impressed with how she handled the situation.

Read moreWe went though the drive thru and asked for a venti drink. When we got to the window we paid for the drink and the employee came to give us our drink. The employee’s supervisor came over to us to tell us that the way we ordered the drink was wrong. The drink they gave me was not what I ordered and that is the reason I made a special order. They kept telling me that what I ordered was wrong yet I am a frequent customer of Starbucks and have ordered this drink many many times without any issue. They came to me with a Grande and I mentioned that I ordered a venti. The employee then asked us if we would like it remade which we said yes to. They then charged us for difference in size which is not a big deal. Overall the customer service was very lacking and poor. From the beginning with the way they approached us was very condescending. We tried to explain to the employee that the drink we order is not the one she was making. They then went on to say that they are a training Starbucks and they follow the rules. Considering this is a training Starbucks I was very disappointed with the customer service and the product we got. Consider the employee made a mistake with not punching in my order size correctly after repeating it back to me at the ordering window I at least would have appreciated an apology instead of being given a lecture about...

Dropped in today after 2.5 hrs on the 401 and wanted to get a coffee beverage and a snack for the next two hours of my trip. I asked for 1/3 heavy cream steamed, 1/3 hot water and 1/3 blonde roast. The server could not comprehend what I was asking for and told me point blank, I do not understand what you want therefore I can't help you! I have ordered this at Starbucks locations across North America and never had an issue or challenge. I explained it again and she said "oh you want an Americano," I said no, I want 1/3 steamed heavy cream, 1/3 hot water, and 1/3 blonde roast. She then Starbucks does not serve anything in 1/3 portions and she could not help me! I told her to forget it, walked out and drove to Kingston and stopped at the first Starbucks, ordered my order and there was zero issue or questions just friendly service.
