I honestly loved this place. They were always pretty generous with the ice cream and the last two times I've went it's been so disappointing. My $5 scoop of ice cream was so small that I felt the need to buy another scoop. We also got ice cream for my sick stepdad who is almost not with us anymore but they couldn't provide us with lids because they didn't have them. When asking for another cup to put on top the owner replied with that will cost you a $1.70 For a cup a $1.70 when you weren't able to provide us with a lids in the first place so we brought home melted ice cream and I've now bought two rounds of ice cream. We spent around $40 in total with the people that we brought and she couldn't give us an extra cup. I also find the customer service to seem quite rude recently. I honestly love Kawartha dairy ice cream and I normally stop in there every time I visit Orangeville. Unfortunately I can't bring my money there anymore, although I'm sure it doesn't matter to them because they know they are one of the only ice cream...

This is my second time coming to the Mill Creek Gardens. My family and I started doing this thing where we make a visit after going to the Island Lakes. We come here for the Kawartha Dairy ice cream, and yes while you can get this ice cream at many grocery stores now, it's nice that there are a variety of flavours that are available to choose from. Staff are incredibly kindnans friendly which just makes for an overall good experience. A small gripe that I had is that only cash is accepted. It would have been nice to see more contactless payment options given what's going on right now. What I did like though is that there is plenty of patio seating available which nice colourful chairs. There is also a hand washing station which is a thoughtful addition. It's nice supporting local businesses especially during these challenging times. Great customer service, a plethora of ice cream flavours and ample seating arrangements all make for great reasons on why you should visit Mill...

Great place , I am giving it a lower star rating because of the customer service. My little girl dropped my ice cream and hers. Matter of seconds in between- I went to the window with the cash to get replacements. Where I didn’t expect the owner to say here they are for Free - it was a good Will gesture to say here is the little girls on the house since she was in tears from dropping it - the owner charged us for both again seconds later. We have been here several times and enjoy supporting family business. In supporting a family business we should also feel like family. My husband and I both did not like the unpersonalable approach to the situation. There was no one there as well so a good will gesture to a mom that already was having a day with her kids would of made my day. Overall the...

I walk by this place to almost daily but never stopped by. But today the weather was nice and sunny and i just wanted an ice cream so i stopped and was greeted by a lovely lady at the counter. They had a surprise milkshake on the menu. So I ordered that and it was very yummy. They do have a lot of options, which i will try next time but the best part is the colorful chairs out on the deck that you can sit at and enjoy the ice cream!! Went again today and ordered a scoop of Praline s and cream and one of cherry bourdeoux

The horrible customer service at this place takes away completely from the amazing ambiance and decor. It has the potential to be something great but the staff selling ice cream killed it. How can a person serving ice cream can be Rude and unwelcoming! Asked her if I can have a spoon with my waffle cone she said no, only if i order cup I can have a spoon. Seriously? You cant give a few cents worth of plastic spoon if $14 order! Pathetic. There are millions of places to get ice creams, so please just avoid this place.
