I didn't expect much from the outside, but the moment you go in, you instantly get that sense of community vibe. The food menus are small but tasty! I brought my two kids in today, and Lynn (and the other server, amazing, but I can't recall her name) treated them so well that not coming back isn't an option! I love that there's the small bar vibe, but has an area for more quiet dining. It is the perfect spot if you're in the area; non complex menu, warm feeling and friendly people on both sides of the bar! Thank you to the owner (I didn't catch their name) who went out of their way to get my boys Drumsticks (dessert)! They were thrilled!

Gives you the old English bar vibe, they have a new menu and with more options. Food and service is good, most customers are regulars. You might find it a little tough to find parking during the weekend since they have limited parking spots. Overall we had a good experience.

Live music (this was a Friday night). Fairly big place. They've shortened their menu though - hope they add back items. (But after the kitchen closes you can get food from nearby fast food places and bring it in)

RE: Abigail's post

So sorry to hear of your negative experience :(

Trust me the Wee Pub is a female friendly place! I have been going there solo for years and the reason heads immediately turned when you entered is because the regulars are greeted as soon as they come in.

I am not sure what you mean by you were sat at the back, people are not seated there, you seat yourself (maybe the bar was busy and you could not find a spot at the bar?)

If I wish to use a dart board in the back I just move a table as long as no one will be inconvenienced. There is Fun Day Sunday darts there (a blind draw - all skill levels - for $5 - reg at 1:30, starts at 2:00). They also have live music on Thursdays and karaoke on Saturday evenings. There are a number of us that even play Roger's TV Bingo in the back on Tuesday evenings!

Give it another chance, it truly is just...

My boyfriend and I went on a walk together and we were passing The Wee and decided last minute that we wanted to pop in for some appy’s and drinks. We were greeted at the door by the daytime bartender and we’re rudely turned away and told we weren’t welcome to dine in because I had a reusable bottle full of water. I’m pregnant so I said it’s just water and was going to show her it but she just would not allow us to come in and was just very short with us. I have worked as a sever/bartender for years now and I would never not allow anyone in for something so ridiculous. We will never be back again and I’ll be advising everyone I know to never go here. Hire a better...
