Crown Wings — Restaurant in Oshawa

Placed an order online. Said it would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived 20 minutes later when I arrived there were 3 orders sitting on the counter ready to go. I gave my name and she checked with the cook in the back and said it wasn’t ready and didn’t have an idea how long it would be (It was Super Bowl Sunday so I understood they were busy). After waiting an additional 30 minutes with zero updates I asked how much longer and as she was trying to figure it out I looked at one of the orders sitting on the counter to see my name on it. It was there and ready when I came it to pick it up. Instead, I waited a total of 50 minutes from order time to get my order. At no point in the 30 minutes of waiting in the restaurant did she once look at the order on the counter or call out the name on the receipt. I can only give 1 star as I had cold wings, fries and warm pop to eat and can’t compare to how they usually are as this was my first time going there. I didn’t bother asking for new wings because didn’t want to wait an additional 30+ minutes if...

Some seriously sauced up and tasty wings! Pictured here are the honey BBQ - they are big, they are crispy - they are all the things I want in a wing! Fast and super friendly service - and it certainly doesn't hurt that they are not too far from home. Well it perhaps hurts my waist line...but I will take an extra lap for these big beauties! Loads of selection on their menu, and if wings aren't your jam there are other great items to order! I have yet to be dissapointed and look forward to a long and happy wing-ship with Crown!

Have been back more times than I would like to admit and have yet to be dissapointed. Still gearing up to change flavors - but really why mess with a good thing. Got their sweet potatoe fries as a treat and they were just as well prepared! Now that things are opening up looking forward to a dine in experience! Stay tuned as I am confident I will find more good...

I tried their wings for the first time yesterday. They are large wings that looked delicious in the box. But my first bite was disappointing. Dispute them being breaded and well sauced. They were extremely dry and tasteless. Over cooked to say the least. These wings have the potential to blow every wing shop outta the water in this area but sadly who ever cooked mine needs to learn how to cook wings. I know some people like them to be crispy but I don’t know anyone who likes them cooked to the point where they are drier than a prayer meeting. If you precook(blanch) your wings get your timing better. You are destroying what could be an amazing product. You have a very courteous and friendly staff. Everything about your business is quality.
