Burrito Xpress — Restaurant in Ottawa

I went in and got the same order than I’ve gotten for about a year and a half which costs 9 dollars. I went in one time and I got the exact same order I’ve always gotten which is double meat. And when I go to pay they say it’s 15 dollars. I then looked for more money however I only brought the 10 knowing every time before It’s 9. I didn’t have anymore so I just stood there while they ignored me. Firstly they offered my food to another costumer saying “want this other one?” When I had already given 10 dollars. So they were going to give food away that I gave 10 dollars for. Then I said I want my money back since I don’t have enough. Then about girl who makes the food(with glasses) comes over and says. “It’s 15” and I say I’ve come here for nearly 2 years and get the same thing everytime and everytime it’s 9 dollars. The woman becomes more angry when I’m simply telling the truth saying she should know since she works there. But I went there maybe last week with her working and it was 9. I then say well I want my money back because I’m not going to give you 10 dollars for something I didn’t get. And she angrily gets my money and says about 5 times “don’t ever come in here again.” Terrible server. Absolutely rude. I think I know how much it is since I go there so often and the fact she is so rude shows how bad the people who work there are. I do not...

The best quick Burrito spot in Kanata. The staff there are very kind, they take the time to get to know their customers. The food is always prepped properly l, and most importantly, the portions are always consistant. They are very generous with the portions too. The value for money is by far one of the best in this industry.

I've been visiting this location now weekly for the better part of 6 months and I've tried almost evrything on the menu. Nothing haa disapointed me yet.

This visit I ordered the Chicken Quasadilla and a side of Chips and Queso.

The Queso dip and all the sauces are made in store. The chips are fried in store as well which makes the a must have for me everytime.

The Quesadilla was really good and served hot. They add lots of ingredients, anything you want on there, they will add it. It was very tasty and served with 2 side sauces which I went for their in house made Salsa Verde and some sour cream.

I didnt get one this trip but if you love a soft chocolate chip cookie, theirs does not dissapoint. Its big too!

I have only ever ordered from this place through Uber on days where I get busy and lose track of time at work, so I cannot speak to the accessibility of the location or anything like that. I have to admit, however, that the food is by far the best take-out food I have ever eaten. It truly does not feel like take-out, but like a homemade burrito. In the dozens of times I have ordered from here, the food has never failed to be fresh, nutritious, and flavorful (not to mention incredibly fast)

I have tried other burritos in the city, Burrito Gringo, Mucho Burrito, BarBurrito and none compare to Burrito Express. It is a veritable diamond in the rough. Despite my remote interactions with the staff, they've made a significant effort to acknowledge me as a regular and celebrated customer - often including free chips and salsa, brownies, or other treats, completely free. I hope to find a reason to pick up a burrito in-person soon, because I am absolutely certain that staff are extremely pleasant...
