This is the worst experience I have ever had in my entire life and I would give this a negative star if that was an option. I ordered online through skip the dishes. When the food got here, I opened up my poutine to find that it had no gravy put on it at all. ( How on earth do you forget to put gravy on a poutine !?) What you see there is the sour cream topping on the "pierogi" not gravy. I called Streats to tell them what had happened and the employee was not helpful at all.
I asked them to send me a new poutine in replacement of the mistake to which I was told that they wouldn't be doing that because It was through the 3rd party service. So then I asked if they could just give me a store credit for the next time I decide to go there. They flat out told me that was not an option either. I was told the only solution was for me to drive all the way to them to pick up. The whole point of ordering out is so you don't have to go drive to the location to get your food. So because they messed up I now have to go out and use gas in my car, as well as the money I waisted paying for the delivery fee + built in tip.
As frustrating as that was, I told the employee to make a new one and I was on my way to pick it up.. I hopped in to my car right after the phone call and drove there. (about a 14min drive) When I got there it was a ghost town and I was the only customer in the place. I asked for my redo order. The employee had no Idea what I was talking about. I said that I had just spoken to him on the phone and that I was here for the redo. He then tells me they haven't even started making it yet.
I asked him why it was not ready for me by the time I got there considering I just got off the phone with him and told him I was on my way. He proceeded to tell me that they didn't make it because I never gave him a specific time that I would be there to grab it. What kind of nonsense is this?!
At this point I am beyond frustrated and outraged by the lack of professionalism. I told him that this is "F* Ridiculous " and that all this is because he forgot to put gravy on a poutine. The employ then tells me that he in fact did put gravy on it and keep denying that there was none. Insinuating that I was at fault.
Utterly speechless by his response I asked to speak to the manager, who was not present at the location. He gave me her business card and I called her cell phone. Nicole answered the phone and I was very frustrated and enraged. I proceeded to tell her my situation and she cut of off several times. Then asked me to pass my phone to the employee so she could talk to him.
Standing right there I could hear what the employee was saying... he denied everything I had just explained to her and then cried to her saying I swore at him and handed the phone back to me. Nicole tells me that I could come in when she is working next and we could try to resolve the issue. Then proceeds to tell me its not acceptable to swear at her employee when I never directly swore at her employee. I tried to explain that it was not directed at any individual and she cut me off to say that she didn't even need to take this call and she was done talking to me and hung up.
I was actually a regular client since the grand opening but after this whole ordeal I will never go back to them. Horrible and unprofessional service backed up by a manager who responded in the exact same manner. Do yourself all a favor and stay far away...
Read moreShort form: Management yelled at me infront of the entire restraunt and told me he "didn't care". The manager was the one not wearing his mask while making food.
Food is great but disapointed that they aren't wearing masks often. The individual at the cash was wearing his but the guy standing in the doorway dealing with the sauces was not. The third individual was taking his on and off going between the back and the front which doesnt make me confident that they are being careful with food back there. I walked out this time but will try again next week and if they are being more careful I'll update with a 5 star rating.
UPDATE: I had gone in last month to try again and was excited that the people in the front were wearing masks. After ordering my food I noticed the guy in the back was not wearing a mask so I asked to speak to the manager. The supervisor was the individual who was in the back not wearing a mask! I asked him to step aside away from customers so that we could be more private then he yelled at me loud enough all of the customers looked at us. He told me I was the 3rd person THAT DAY to tell him to wear his mask. When I asked for a refund he told me he "didn't care" what I thought. Clearly they have a problem and I won't be going back after being yelled at, so...
Read moreWorst costumer service ever! We ordered a large order thru their app and had it delivered. First of all, it came 20 minutes late. Even though, we place the order before the restaurant even opened. When I called to verify what was going on, the person was super rude and told me they were busy. When the delivery person came, he told us that the atmosphere in the restaurant was horrible. People were yelling at each other, throwing food, etc. He was going to report them. Food was missing from our order! I called the restaurant and never did they apologized or responded calmly. They told me that they could not do anything for me since they weren't the one delivering the food. They screamed and swore at me. I just wanted the missing food delivered at my door! Anyways, they redid the missing plate and we had to go and get it at the store. It was not even busy, staff were yelling, horrible atmosphere! And to finish it off, they didn't even give us the right food that was missing. The quality of food was disappointing. Do your self a favor and don't...
