Falafel On Wheels — Restaurant in Ottawa

Saying this is the best Falafel in Ottawa is not an inflated claim.

I.made the trip from Orleans to this Falafel on Wheels, in the parking lot at 1649 Montreal Rd. At the corner of Montreal & Blair, opposite to TD Bank.

I was greeted with a smile from the friendly owner. I asked to taste one Falafel and I was pleasantly surprised that every sandwich is made fresh. No microwave Falafel.

I ordered the classic sandwich even before tasting, because the cleanliness, the good smell and the friendly staff encouraged to it.

The generous people there gave me my tasting sample after I got my sandwich. Omg the taste was beyond amazing. I wished I could fly and get home to eat my sandwich.

The price is very reasonable. I got home and the first bite was a start of a party. The generous amount of Falafel, the authentic toppings, and the REAL tahini sauce were amazing combination. That made the sandwich and amazing sandwich that puts it among the top in Ottawa and in a category of its own, since none of the places I had Falafel in would cook it fresh on your order.

For those of Lebanese roots, that Falafel brought back memories of the Barbar Falafel and the authentic true -in lebanon- Marroush Falafel.

The menue is great with variety and reasonable pricing. It even alllowed a large or small family to get the Falafel and make what they wish with it at home.

This place was worth the trip from Orleans. I highly recommended over any places that microwave Falafel for u and turning it into plastic to chew.

To say this is the best falafel joint in Ottawa is to say the least!!! Falafel on wheels I don’t know what your secret is but my oh my what delicious falafels you guys serve. The perfect amount of tahini, vegetables and sauce. The falafel is so light, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside and not overwhelming with spices. It’s so well wrapped in the perfect amount of bread. They’re fried fresh as well to order, not sitting on the counter for hours ;) Delicious!!! This was so worth the drive. Tried Falafel on Wheels for the first time today. Before my visit here, I thought I truly enjoyed falafels … well, this food truck made me ADORE them even more!!! First of all, Falafel on Wheels definitely takes pride in their AMAZING customer service. The owner/employee today was there to answer our questions and even allow us to have a falafel sampler, how generous and kind!!! The prices were SO reasonable !
